Well, you tell me... How bad is Bea Arthur singing and dancing with Roadian Bounty Hunters?
I remember the Ewok movies and, yes, they were horrible (like having the Ewok language as english but backwards). This is a variety special, though, featuring Bea Arthur, Art Carney, and Jefferson Starship.
On the bright side, it also has the cartoon introduction of Boba Fett, but that's the only redeeming quality.
The Mainframe market had competition. Up until around 2000 Fujitsu/Amdahl and Hitachi both had Mainframe systems (the so called Plug Compatible Manufacturers). They decided to bail out of the market because they didn't see enough profit in them. Since that point, the mainframe has had constant competition from smaller systems. This investigation is nothing short of ridiculous.
Seriously, MS... We know that you're excited about being even a little secure, but let's be a little realistic in terms of what "the planet" consists of. I think that anyone who's ever worked on a real mainframe would dispute your little claim, cute though it is.
What are you talking about? This is in regards to a software standard. Lenovo is IBM's old "PC Company"... Quite different from either Systems and Technology Group or Software Group.
That lets the world know that, as an environmentally responsible company, BioWare has made this game without any of the toxic chemical known as RaphKosterite?
That particular additive is bound to make a game that calls itself Star Wars without any of the baggage of actually being Star Wars... Perfect for making a semi-space based Sims game.
I called my rep as soon as I saw the article on CNN... Of course, my Rep happens to be Hoyer.
The staffer was polite, but he tried to explain to me that this isn't "blanket immunity" since they have to go to the courts. I politely explained that it didn't make any sense since Bush had already admitted telling them to do it, that pretty much was blanket immunity right there.
He forwarded my contact information on to Representative Hoyer, but since he "negotiated" this deal, I doubt that he's going to back down from it.
I mean, I remember complaining bitterly about T$R when I was a kid. Since being acquired by Hasbro, D&D has fallen much further than TSR ever could have caused it to.
3.0 was pretty bad. Real fixes didn't come until 3.5, which wasn't released all that long ago, and now, before people have gotten their moneysworth out of 3.5, we have 4.0.
Worse, 4.0 has lots of things missing and they'll be conveniently added in the "expansions" for the 4.0 PHB and DMG.
Back when it was first released they had it patterned after, and making use of, old horror movies. The original games even had the appearance of an old reel of film in the opening.
I'm not sure when the change occurred, but the general feel of the line of games has long since turned into anime.
Don't get me wrong, anime is fine. I think that Castlevania needs to be about the horror movies, though, and have some realistic appearance to the characters.
I'd like to say that I'm looking forward to this, but unless it's got the horror film look and some real connection to Simon Belmont, I'm not interested.
I can only hope that this doesn't ruin the guy's career at Cisco. His actions have probably helped many businesses and products but I have to wonder if he may have violated the terms of his employment. I hope not, at any rate.
There have been too many occasions where the news media has persisted in "dumbing down" the terminology that they use. I even remember watching a "Faith and Values" show on CNN last year where John Edwards (the candidate, not the psychic) was asked his thoughts on Evolution which, in the words of Soledad O'brien, was the belief that man evolved from apes.
We need the news media to take the lead in helping people understand what a theory is vs. a hypothesis. How fact and theory are not opposites. The fact that a "law" is not the opposite of a theory. Too many people are getting away with murder in these debates because the termnology isn't clearly understood and the news media doesn't care to straighten it out.
Well, I don't know about hippies but I wouldn't be surprised by Coke
"Ugh... I think that lawyer snorted something through his human horn"
followed by:
"Look at my hands. They're huge and they can touch anything except each other. Woah!"
Or, more likely, something resembling a scene from terminator...
But that final episode was so great! Imagine how great NewYorkCountryLawyer could make a series finale!
I like to hope that it involves Lur eating the RIAA.
Good point. I suppose that with these facts in mind, they have to be mindful not to eat any chips with Olestra or take that "Alli" diet drug... more of these great ideas might come out as "leakage" and at the most embarrassing times.
The only thing that we can do is look at material like this and make sure that we communicate these points to those who represent us. It's only natural to be cynical about the likelihood of making a difference with your call, but unless you take that action we'll never know if we could stop this thing.
Why is there a need for a 4th edition? 3.5 wasn't released all that long ago (and the books were just as expensive as the 3.0 versions), so why do we need a 4.0? Is there a compelling reason or is this just a symptom of Hasbro casting "Animate Dead" on TSR's corpse?
Two points:
First, War as glamorous and consequence free... Wow, I don't think that I ever heard about anything like that in movies that I've watched for my entire life and many of the books that I've read.
Seriously, didn't this moron ever watch Patton?
Secondly, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the VT shooter was established to have not been a gamer. Granted, Fox News (never one to let the facts get in the way of their "reporting") opted to have him on right after the shooting, before any facts had been established, so that he could talk about how games were responsible for it. As I recall, however, the shooter's roommates said that they'd never seen him play any games.
I really wish that the main stream media would out this guy publicly.
Dude! It's "crossed the *STREAMS*!
I blame today's educational system for failing us.
SMH
It's probably Mysterio again.

So it was the wave motion cannon, right?
Yeah, since the other post was modded down, I couldn't see it at the time.
Without his constant idiocy and paranoid delusions of grandeur?

Will there be an Andromeda Strain of this Virus?

Yeah, he'd like you to believe that but his voting record doesn't synch up with it his rhetoric.

I ask because I want them to be safe. It has to be painful pulling garbage like this out of their asses.

When does the battle for cybertron really move to Earth?
