Already tried, it was a flop You can read the corp info here It gave them about as much real world experience as the Chrysler turbine cars did.
What cracks me up is the FRENCH building an electric car, I mean they cant even build a half decent gas powered car using a technology that is far more refined than electric, could you imagine an electric renault, oh the service departments of dealers just have to be cringing at that one.
Admittedly electric has been around nearly as long as internal combustion tech but it stopped for a long period in between. I am about 90% sure the first car to break 100 mph was electric, but too lazy to google it
Its actually the visible light, I have seen this effect many times at work, I was a plumber and pipefitter, when working on boilders or pipelines a guy would yell arcin, and if you were or had to be looking in that direction would close eyes and depending on the aperage and stick cover it with your hand, you could "see through" it sometimes , there was however one phenomena I never figured out maybe a slashdotter could help, during the same experience it was not uncommon to see your own retina, blood vessels and all for a very brief flash, I was not the only one to experience this, was it somehow reflecrting off the front inside of the eyeball due to the intense light ?
I would be seriously amazed if only 1 in 20 computers had spyware on it , I think 50% is a more accurate number from what Ive seem in a mix of non-technical business users and home users. I have to say all this gator like crap has become the bane of my support existence. I am glad I support very few users and those I support actually listen to me (I think they aare afraid:) One computer owned by my aunt was running slow, bring it over I said Ill look at it, it has no less than 15 seperate spyware apps installed, I about had a heart attack. So I installed a popup killer and its been 6 months still clean as a whistle, It seems like 90% of spyware installed by a user (not bundled like with Bear Share , etc) Comes from those damm windows copy pop-up windows

I am getting a bit frustrated with the increasingly poor quality of google responses. It seems like an increasing number of people are writing pages and scripts for things to have some bullshit generic redirect page waiting to scoop your traffic up. With those odd assed 3 mile long URL that are built from some kind of search stat or reffer. Now that said these types of traffic leaches are VERY unlikley to actually PAY for something, I can see this as not neccesarily a bad thing. weed out some of the traffic scabbers, This would have to be a nightmare in process for Yahoo's legal team, Wasnt there just a case with someones keyword in a search engine being protected under copyright ?Isnt Yahoo now based on the old HotBot engine ?
You forgot Jerry Springer, the Ex-Mayor Now Television Dude, who was busted paying for hookers with the city checkbook:)
OH and that when people there dont understand you they say "Please ?" instead of "Excuse Me ?" or "Im sorry what was that ?" This always leads too all kinds of fun conversations the first time you visit.
I dono, I can handle heat, even excessive heat, as long as its fairly dry, and Oh yes It gets muggy here, especially the last 2 years it seems, but its on and off, but In Florida (even more so in Mobile AL) I feel like Im trying to breathe underwater. I use AC as much for the temp reduction as getting the damm humidy out of the air. Maybe thats just me, like I said heat I can handle try working in a boiler (yes inside) and welding all day long, average temp inside 130+ degrees. You get used to it but damm just keep the humidity away from me !
Or you could be like my dad he has this syndrome, I cant find it on the web at least the way Im spelling it, basically if he gets even the slightest cold his body improperly triggers and it acts like hes going hypothermic, he looses feeling in his extremeties , he gets confused, all kinds of stuff because the blood rushes to protect his organs. Its funny to see someone wearing glovs and a hat at 55 deegrees:)
Sorry, cant help you, heating was my specialty, steam and hot water, here our Plumbers union is part of the Pipefitters union (one of very few in the country that way, so I was trained in both) The air guys as we call them could help better, the only time I ever used geotherm was to eliminate chillers in a hospital.
Beside, this is Ohio we dont need (I mean REALLY need) Air conditioning like you folks in Florida:)

Take this house for example, 2000 sq ft 2 story farmhouse, 1950's anderson windows, still nice but not real tight, no in wall insulation, attic is aesbestos (but now sealed)
The house is set up into 3 zones, on an old , circa 1950 American Standard electro-mechanical zone system, it is hot water heat, about half baseboard, the other half cast radiators, the heat throught the hose is awesome, never too cold anywhere. Now, the fun part, we dont have gas, and electric was way too ineffecient to heat this house soooo, my grandfather a pipefitter as well installed the system back in the 50's,it is looks like a full blown commercial install, When I was out of town once the boiler went out (flooded expansion tank) so my wife called the company I worked for, my friend glen cam out and said , "uhhh youre gonna have to call in a commercial outfit were all residential and Ive never seen a system like this before Chris (me usually handles all our commercial stuff"
The wind up of all this , my heating bill for the entire year ? Under $600 Thats 350 gallons of oil, I only took 310 or so after 13 months last time I topped off. And I live near Cleveland Ohio (Akron), not exactly warm winters here ya know
I dont give this argument much thought normally, as I dont have any desire at the moment beyond x86-64 to learn the nuances of a new proccesing architecture, even though I am a sparc fan, should say was before they started laggin behind,
I have looked at, or should I say drooled at some of the IBM big iron running the PPC architecture but never gave it much more thought, With IBM now cranking out some nice PPC silicon and MS Jumping on the PPC bandwagon albeit limited, I think I might have to look a little more
Any reccomendations on cheap, well reasonable used IBM PPC systems that are still of the same basic architecture of what is being sold now, like what will run RHEL 3 AS ?
There was in town, until just a few years ago a fairly busy intersection that had a crosswalk and a very old button setup, it would when pressed within 5 or so seconds change the light, and would continue to as long as it was pressed, when we were kid we used to hold traffic up just for the fun of it, but at other times, you could time cars, press the button and watch them schreech to a halt.
2 Things, Here in Akron Ohio, the Now home of Televangelist Earnest Angley, the building he now offupies was televangelist Rex Humbards previously, Rex started to build a HUGE Rotating restraunt on a pillar, something along the lines of the "space" needles, He ran out of Money before he could finish, so now at one of the highest points of town, a large white tower stands with no purpose, everyone here calls it Rex's Erection
A second note that almost killed me with laughter was , well let me start with I used to be in the building trades, one day while at a supply house, a New blue truck pulled up, the sign on the side ? "Short STEEL Erection" I was dying, they specailzed in Steel reinforced concrete. I always love that one I think they were out of Canton OH
