since you obviously know way more about this sort of thing than i do, i only have one point. buggy drivers are common in linux and can make any fine piece of hardware perform like a very crappy piece of hardware. i would imagine its a least a possibility in this case. i also think maybe the point was that linux just doesnt have the support in the form of drivers and imaging software. i could be way off, that is just my take.
eh... dual monitors in windows isnt new. ive just recently had dual monitors working in win98. i tried 98 again because i was given a really nice dman2044 card that only works in 98, but the install was crazy unstable so im running xp now. the only difficulty ive run into is that 98 prefers to have the agp card as the main in the bios and xp prefers the pci to be main. kinda strange, but it seems to be the case in both systems ive done this with.
be VERY careful not to mix up who you give them to...

i dont know, that barts pe stuff just didnt seem as easy as burning an iso. ive built several windows machines for people and had more than a couple linux distros going, so im not a moron. maybe it has gotten easier since i tried it about a year ago...
hmmm.... i bet i can respond with intelligence despite your first sentence
ok, im in oklahoma and i have had several indian friends. that to say that im not racist at all. anyway, i just dont see all the hullabaloo about racial terms, with the exception of the deragatory form of the work 'negro'. i guess to each his own, because that one does offend me. maybe its a matter of how recent it was abused, i dont know. i dont get offended when people use the term cracker or honky. i think the majority of it is found in context. i just asked a Sioux friend of mine what he thought about it all. to summarize his points:
the terms redskin and the like are cool when referring to a sports team
the term indian is ok
native american is also ok
apple and prairie ni**er are not ok, obviously
keep in mind he cant speak for everyone, either. so, it all comes down to personal preference. if it offends somebody, dont use it unless that is your intention.
one more thing... i find it hilarious when comedians use racial slurs against their own race. i guess my opinion works best in a society without racism where those words dont cause pain. thats unfortunate... if that were the case, we could all get a good laugh at us making fun of ourselves.
exactly what i did and thats exactly what i thought of it. its pretty, tho im not into that style. i just kept waiting for something to happen. ive been reinstalling my box at the table across the room and have no trouble walking away from episode one of the broken saints stuff to check on it. the sounds are decent, the drawrings are ok, but the story is slow as hell. i dont know if its called cinemetography(i doubt it), but whatever its called, it was ok. appealing at least. but to beat a dead horse...
teh story is teh suxxors!!1111eleven
so whats wrong with that? it refers to native americans, so? do they have reddish skin? yes. is that bad? no. now if it were the honkyskins, that would be different. hehe, no i wouldnt be offended then, either, that would just be funny.
Just because it's BSD doesn't mean that it's going to be limited to PC Architecture.
isnt the fact that its bsd the exact reason why it isnt limited to pc architecture? im no bsd guru, but i know its available for almost every processor in existence.
ive always wondered the same thing. as i understand it, apt(et al) doesnt get you the major package updates, just patches. gentoo's updates are not like this, iirc. im no expert, tho.
also, nice username. im only 1/32 hawaiian and have never even been there, so is that the abbreviated spelling nowadays? i figured the apostrophe is for the two missing a's.
what if you could get the car to simply act as a controller for the game whilst in park and turned off? talk about a realistic wheel/brake/clutch controller. an expensive one, perhaps, but the the drives around when your not using it for playing GTA, after all.
No.

read up the thread a bit:
someone mentioned it already
i would imagine mythtv would work fine with yellowdog, but i dont run either.
hehe, im presently taking a break from coding in C++ and saw the OO in 'OOMPH' and thought to myself,
'Object Oriented...Multimedia...Player...Hardware?'
huh? ah well. back to coding...
i dont mean to be argumentative, but ive had dual monitors in 2k as well. i seriously have no idea what youre talking about.

5. Monitor to show your windscreen wiper spray tank level, so you know when to refill.
