    Tech services companies, including Cognizant Technology Solutions, have been cutting positions in India. Some workers have blamed Trump for prompting the job losses and exacerbating problems in the industry.

    I'm sure they regret voting for him in the last election now.
    Oh wait...

    Why would these people assume a foreign president has their best interests at heart again? If they want to get angry about unemployment, it should be at the people actually responsible for their corner of the world.

    Now how much more are those exploits worth on the market to the right enemy states?

    Also, you're assuming the researchers have a dollar amount to begin with. With the mission of a Holy War driving you, helping your home team will outweigh a bunch of greenbacks.

    Lights on in the home are indication that residents are at home!

    Just like the timer on the table lamp making the lights go on and off like someone's home when you're gone, it wouldn't be that hard to do the same things to add noise to the IoT info. Have an automated recording make unnecessary requests to the Amazon Echo (8pm: recording has Echo play Hootie and the Blowfish songs for a half hour), or send signals to WeMo outlets to turn things on/off.

    1) The developers only wanted to add features they personally were interested in, and their desires didn't correspond to those of anyone else who used the program.

    2) IM networks taking protocols private.

    If I cried about all the ways the world was unfair I would drown and not have to worry about living in it.
    Accept reality and absurdity. If you recognize the issue you're already ahead of them in the game.
    Also, do not proscribe to their ignorance what is more likely malice. Remember, today it's "I got mine. Fuck you."

    Now is the time not just for modularization, but for the big Android players to tell the carriers that the era of them deciding when OS updates get to devices is over.

    You think it's the carriers that are holding updates back? I'm sure it's also the "big Android players" you're talking about -- trying to get people to upgrade their handsets to inflate their quarterly sales numbers.

    Nyaa.se was shut down voluntarily as well at the beginning of the month, but a group from the fandom and people close to the old site started a replacement that will eventually be just like the old site for all intents and purposes.

    They already offer a model without one. So it's sorta the gp poster's fault he's having to deal with it interrupting his workflow now. The non-touchbar one was even available before the touchbar models iirc.

    I would suggest visiting Blaylock's Indie-Rock Playlist for a similar sampling of new artists to download every month. Unfortunately the files lowered their quality lately. Earlier years they had many vbr and >192 kbps bitrate tracks, but more recent playlists I've downloaded have been dominated with 128 kbps files.

    Well, from the "Drat" dept. I'm looking at the site now and I'm not seeing any way to download the full playlists. You can stream songs from the site -- or use a Spotify Playlist, but all the zip archive and torrent links they had for the previous playlists are gone now. Kinda worthless for me, as I need an offline playback method.

    But yeah, I guess you mean the original mp3.com, the one that used to mail out those CDs with 103 indie songs and an installer for MusicMatch Jukebox? I would suggest visiting Blaylock's Indie-Rock Playlist for a similar sampling of new artists to download every month. Unfortunately the files lowered their quality lately. Earlier years they had many vbr and >192 kbps bitrate tracks, but more recent playlists I've downloaded have been dominated with 128 kbps files. I guess the labels wised up that many people were fine with the free tracks and didn't wants to buy any other songs or albums from the artists.

    Android isn't just phones, it is also set top TV boxes now. Many of those devices come pre-rooted, making the entire market for those devices totally fucked in terms of Netflix now.

    You mean the market of Android devices with all those piracy apps?
    I wonder how many of those people are interested in being paying Netflix subscribers to begin with.
