I was just about to ask why people were still on 8.0. It's unsupported now and pretty buggy. Windows 8.1 + Classic Shell and you have as close to current Windows as you can get w/o the spyware.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
You don't know how the concept effects him. I actually had a bad dream last night about my computer updating to Windows 10. I think the topic came up because of recent reading about that woman who won $10,000 for her business machine being borked. But anyway, yes. It was a literal nightmare about Microsoft.
That's okay. As the summary says, the attack "can be picked up by the human year", and even at that data rate they should get some juicy stuff over 12 months of transmitting.
Microsoft rarely announces they are abandoning a product line they have recently been promoting. They just stop releasing new products in the line, then the frequency of updates to existing released models slows (if applicable)... then three or so years later, when most people have changed off out of frustration, do they EOL of the product. That was what happened with Zune, too.
...I could pretty much count on them having episodes of any older TV show I care about, and also lots of anime I hadn't yet seen (English-dubbed "Bleach", "Freezing", "M*A*S*H", etc.).
Hulu has also recently dropped the vast majority of their anime catalog. As someone who had pre-paid for his subscription through November 2017, I'm a little miffed. Might put it "on-hold" to preserve the months and come back when something shows up there I want to watch.
Seems lots of providers are trying to do more original content to avoid having to license things, but miss that the third-party content and older series freely available to see still is what drives lots of people to subscribe to their service to start with.

According to Adobe the current version of Flash is only 21.0.0.192. I'd like to hear where this later version is that is already considered obsolete, and where the patched update is.
In this case it means they actually tried to recover the files, instead of just claiming they couldn't because they're lazy, or because they would rather the files be lost anyway.
You see this happen in private industry too, when files needed for legal proceedings are "lost" and the judge isn't going to let that get by. Miraculously, "unrecoverable files" are suddenly retrieved.
Rolls-Royce has unveiled its first driverless vehicle dubbed The Vision Next 100. It is an autonomous vehicle aimed at "the most discerning and powerful patrons in the world." There's no steering wheel but there is a silk "throne" where passengers can sit and stare out the window.

Maybe that's not such a bad idea. Rename the company Minecraft. Kinda like Philip Morris changing their name to the Altria Group, to help people forget about the horrible products they made.
"Long-term support" only means 5 years now?!
Linux Mint's long-term support cycle is tied to that of Ubuntu's. Maybe you should be complaining upstream?

I hope this serves as a warning for the ignorant Americans considering not voting, when faced with a vote for Donald or Hillery.
That's more correct.

MS never announced any such thing.

Oops. Misread that there. 22.0.0.192.
LOL. Carry on, I'm an idiot.
