    Not pricey for the US. AT&T Charges 89.00 for 1400 minute plans, unlimited data is like another 50.00.

    I saw 1350 minutes, 200 sms messages, with unlimted data for 99.00 a month and thought why is it so cheap?

    If you compare same spec machines to what Apple offers, the other machines are similar in price or more expensive than Apple.

    Apple doesn't really compete for the low end market. So if you want a 500.00 desktop, the specs on it will not match to anything Apple sell except maybe the Mac Mini.

    If you want a real workhorse you will pay way more than 500.00.

    It has a lot to do with where (and when) in the city you are driving. If you use all non-interstate, or very congested interstate roads with lower speeds, the gas milage is very good. If you travel a lot on interstate roads with average 65 - 70 MPH speed the gas milage is much, much lower.

    People that pay for Hummers usually don't have to worry about the cost of gas. Same goes for Viper's, Corvettes, etc....

    120,000 are you kidding? My Suburban has 220,000 on it now, still passes emissions, and runs like a champ. If properly maintained V-8 engines last a very long time.
