I find it odd that their policies say they may suspend people if their character/guild/pet name contains a reference to sexual orientation, but the worst that happens to a name that contains a reference to religion (covered under "inappropriate") is a warning.
*sigh*
read: GBLT Friendly
it doesn't say only gays...it says its an organization that GBLT people can join and be confident that they won't have to deal with the insane ammount of harrassment that usually occurs when 13 year olds are sitting behind a keyboard feeling brave...
Just tried this in the latest beta...it works perfectly fine except you can't add borders to disjoint selections...I don't know how much sense that makes, but I can see ways to rationalize the decision...
Damnit...if I had mod points I'd mod you down like it was nobody's business...have you seen Take-Two's stock price lately? That's all from the "free advertising" that the hot coffee mod generated. I think their investors have had just about all the "free advertising" they care to handle...and if you don't think those losses will trickle down to the development house that caused them (one way or another), then you should be running for president...
""MSN Virtual Earth" incorporates, to a degree, data from their Microsoft Terraserver project which debuted in 1997, which is nearly a decade before Google ever got into the map business."
Woah...this AC has been to the future...
Not saying there isn't some reason for it (don't know what it would be), but the IBM plant in Endicott, NY shows up as a big blurry blob in Google Earth...

This isn't a criminal trial.
*sigh* while it's obvious you're trying to be funny it would be nice if it wasn't at the expense of the poor brits (hell make fun of us americans...we probably deserve it more, there are after all more stupid people in this country than there are PEOPLE in the UK [red states anyone?])
at least in the computer gaming sense. I know when I was in high school on the chess team (no laughing), we used to study and play chess constantly. it definitely got to the point where we would be walking down the hallway looking at the tiles on the floor and thinking, "if i were a knight i could capture them right now..."
yes...i forget how much more fun it is to randomly generate a response without gathering supporting information...
*sigh* I guess no one is going to actually read the policies...Harassment is also covered under a separate section.
the policy specifically addresses sexual orientation...obscene/vulgar names have their own section

Obviously "republican lovers" would be just another attempt at creating a GBLT friendly guild...

It's nice to see some spammers getting sued rather than some 12 year old girl who downloads MP3s...
