I think the program you are thinking about is STK, or Satellite Tool Kit. You can download it for free for a short trial period and can track satellites in real-time.
I live in Omaha as well... Of course the local news is having a field day with this kid. Anyways... they did their story
last night and I don't see whats so special about it. In fact, I am even more surprised to see it posted on Slashdot.
The submitter also forgot to check the actual eBay auction before posting.. This morning it was sitting at around $2,550 and
as of right now, at 2:30 CST it's around $15,000.
So... whats going to happen? He gets a lot of press from it, people run up the fradulent bid and he never gets paid. The
End.
My guess is that the MPAA waited around to see how RIAA was going to handle Napster, Kazaa and the myriads of other clones out there. The process that seems to be working is send C&D letters, sue the IP address and force the ISP to reveal the true identity. The MPAA didn't have to jump in so fast because movie piracy just wasn't as big as music was at the time. You had to download huge files that took most people days to complete. Now... with BitTorrent and the rising use of broadband in homes now.. the process can take less than 12 hours.
"You'd think that with a name like "GigaFast," the WF717-APR router would deliver a great performance, but you'd be GigaWrong. Buy this one and you'll end up GigaSad in no time."
"Considering the "Police say the site had 10,000 users, all Finnish" quote in the article, and the fact that Suprnova is still up fine, i'm guessing not."
You're right... Suprnova has way more than 10,000 users.
And we all know what helps Glaucoma... right? Always reminds me of the classic Simpsons episode. All the pretty colors, huge donuts, and of course flying to work and then forgetting about everything. Ahh.. I can't wait!
Well... it looks like we already have our first reports of voter fraud in Phildaelphia, atleast, according to Drudge. I have been trying to see if I can find out if it's true or not through the Election Incident Reporting System (EIRS). So far, their site has been very, very slow to respond. Anyways.. Drudge says that there are reports of over 2,000 votes already being casted on voting machines BEFORE the polls were even open. Is anyone in Phily that can corroborate the stories? Nothing I have seen thus far says which candidate the votes were casted for, but I am very curious...
Here you go. These are the drafts that are sitting in the House. And I bet you couldn't guess who they are sponsored by? I'll give you a hint, it's not the Reoublicans and Bush.
Well, unfortunately Moore didn't show you everything that happened when he went around interviewing Congressmen. He actually did run into a congressman that had 2 kids in the service... Oh, but he didn't show you that part did he? It wouldn't fit the message he was trying to show now would it?

It would be nice to have a working link, eh?
Just cheked eBay and the final bid ended up at $257,000. Not bad for a site doing 3GB/day of bandwidth.
...and you wonder why your heart is a mess?
Completely diffrent.

I must also agree with another poster... Don't let him give you the wrong idea about Nebraska.

Here's the link to the auction... and the link to his website..
Well.. that earth rotates once every 24 hours right? So, by the article, that means that the day is shortened by 3 microseconds.
Well... The B613 Foundation was just too demeaning.

Could the article be anymore GigaLame?

It's just Mother Nature shaking up her chocolate milk.
Sunrise was at 6:07.. as I said above.. It's probably cloudy at that elevation... or it's raining :)
It's probably cloudy up at that elevation. It was like that yesterday until about mid-after noon when the clouds began to burn off.

Shit, that's about all most of us nerds need :)
falls under MISSING OPTION to me. You should make a poll.
