Except all studies show that the act of holding the phone to your head isn't the problem. Doing just about anything else, including talking to other riders in the vehicle, is just as dangerous as talking on the phone.
Apple doesn't push updates down. You can choose not to install the updates, I know a lot of people who jailbroke the older versions still haven't upgraded to even 1.1.4.
To tell you the truth, I've gotten more play time out of the 360 I purchased the week before GTA4 came out than I have gotten out of my Wii that I purchased the week it came out.
Oregon doesn't have sales tax, right? That's something we have to pay living in other states. I pay 5% every month. And when I bought my subsidized iPhone, I still had to pay sales tax on the FULL price, not what I was paying. Shit sux.
You don't think that T-Mobile is kicking customer retention into high gear because people are leaving for ATT+iPhone, maybe? That's what it sounds like to me. Like how you can get your APR lowered on a credit card by hinting that you're considering to cancel your card...
"You don't think _any_ gamer worth his salt wouldn't crave a Playstation after watching someone play Metal Gear Solid 4, or even some good old Warhawk?"
Been a gamer since I got my first NES, and if I wanted to sit and watch hours of cutscenes, I'd rent a movie. And I've never even heard of Warhawk. After googling it, it looks like crap. And even if it did look good, 2 games isn't worth dropping $399 + 2x$59.99 for only TWO games.
10.9+ million WoW players, but that's globally. About the same number of AMERICANS own a Wii. According to nexgenwars.com, there have been over 22 million Wiis sold.
And the DS? According to wikipedia: "As of March 31, 2008, sales of the DS Lite have reached 51.78 million units worldwide."
As a PC Gamer who dabbles in console gaming, I'm not afraid to admit that console gaming is bigger. But I also know that the mouse/keyboard is the best way to control FPS and RTS games, so I'm not afraid of PC Gaming dying any time soon.

People I work with who don't know anything about anything technology related are asking me about the iPhone. They tell me they saw some coverage in the news, and they want to know more.
Most of the devastating fires in the towns surrounding where I live were started by bored volunteer fire fighters who want to be heroes.
Hell, look at Christopher Reeve. He didn't do shit to help paralyzed people until he was.
Tragedy + Distance (or time) = comedy
Search Google for "Towery" for a good example.
So, you're telling him to feed the troll? Let the troll know that he's getting to you, and he'll just do it more.
If you run the forum, the best solution is to ban him, and ban him with every new account he makes.

"but it requires far less (maybe even none depending on how you drive) of a non-renewable resource like oil"
Except when you plug it in. That electricity is most likely coming from a coal plant.
"all computers are green; at least, as green as they ever were."
Reminds me of the recent articles about how 'green' the new hybrids really are. Turns out, it's greener to buy a used car, even if it's a guzzler.
Better to throw away a piece than the entire pie.
Happy?
I want to see how Twitter can turn this into an anti-Microsoft thread.
You're on, Twitter, make us proud.

If we didn't need oil, we wouldn't have troops in the ME. If we didn't have troops in the ME to begin with, 9/11 would never have happened.
You're ignoring the cause of the problem, which is that we stick our noses into everyone's business.
To tell you the truth, I've gotten more play time out of the 360 I purchased the week before GTA4 came out than I have gotten out of my Wii that I purchased the week it came out.
I've been considering selling the Wii, actually.

And you still cannot purchase an iPhone without a 2 year contract for ATT.
I know that I have to pay sales tax every month on my ATT wireless bill.
You don't think that T-Mobile is kicking customer retention into high gear because people are leaving for ATT+iPhone, maybe? That's what it sounds like to me. Like how you can get your APR lowered on a credit card by hinting that you're considering to cancel your card...
Thank you, I didn't really know where to look for those numbers so I did a quick google.

The ATT stores don't give a crap. If you have an Apple store close by, you should hit them up. I've had nothing but great experiences with them.

Brawl, Mario Party, Metroid...
There are more than two Wii games.
And I don't think you've EVER talked to ANYONE who WANTED a PS3.
I got a 360 after I got bored with my Wii, but that was because Live is such a great service (and will be even better this autumn, w00t!).
Except with software, you get told to fuck right off.
You get NO support from local stores, you get told to contact the developer or publisher, even for refunds.
What if you have more than one license?

Except for how they're launching WotLK without the actual Lich King. He'll be patched in before the NEXT expansion comes out.
Blizzard knows content is king, but they also know that you WoWheads will keep paying for their lame expansion packs.
WoW is the next Sims.
