Now they are coming for the low hanging fruit of driving, trucking, and dealing with humans on the phone. It won't happen over night but it will happen. It will be cheaper then insurance for drivers, they won't make as many mistakes, will drive through the night, etc. once it is to a spot some freckled and pimpled faced teenager can unload the back and scan what they need from it, then its off to another destination..

from my perspective i think we need tools that find these serious bugs in millions of lines of code and point them out.. I am thinking AI would work great at this. it can look for similar bugs to what it have been trained to do.. This stuff is getting too complicated for mere mortals to fix and look for. Not even LInus can find every bug.
I would suspect it would be more like the kids who can do the calc trig, and algebra 2 stuff will get the coding classes everyone else will be SOL and get stupid classes..
The only way to get mature reliable code is to mandate it from the government. Anything else is protected by those tiny print licenses you people accept with out reading...
