where will kde be in fedora in the future? behind gnome or alongside it?
i am a kde user and i hope that it can be placed alongside gnome instead of behind.

there are some programs missing here and there. i cant find kbluetooth for the 64bit arch. thats two problems. kdebluetooth is not core nor extras not even livna but kde-redhat. there is gnome-bluetooth-manager which is sorely lacking in features. and yes kdebluetooth is available for the 32bit arch.

i hate the programs menu's arrangement. its too cluttered and before any gnome advocates tell me to use gnome i want to tell them that the kmenu CAN be organised. look at mandriva!. there is even a browsers submenu under internet.

packaging. i hate the fact that i cant get rid of noatun. its part of the kde multimedia package. there are some packages that are a catch-all for an entire group. its big and ugly and it deprives the end user of removing the specific package (s)he doesnt want.

where is system-config-cpanel? a wrapper for all the system-config utilities?

will system-config-lvm ever have decent features?

why are some totally useless packages installed by default eg. i dont have a pda but kpilot is installed (again dual problems.. lumped together and not wanted)

the dvd iso still has some empty space on it. will the dvd become a dual use? live cd and installation media? it would be nice to play a game or two while fc installs. use the dvd as a repair media.

why are installation questions being asked during "firstboot"? like selinux! i disable selinux which means i actually begin using my pc on "secondboot(R)"

    enuf ranting!

i hope the constructive criticism will make the distro better. ;)

ok .. i have been playing around with vmware server for a bit now and no dual booting to test any new distros and what not. i even have a vmware image called dummy terminal with no hd, no floppy, no cd, and only 14mb of ram so i can test ltsp with.

i also see, the possibilities of virtualisation.
i personally am the lead responsible person for 4 servers, 2 with almost 0% load and 2 with 99% load. now my question is this:
is there some way to set up a virtualisation cluster?
i.e. set up a cluster of vmware/xen/blah and have them all share resources, cpu, ram, etc. then create an image that say requires 2 cpus. later when i realise that 99% load on my cpu has been reached (or whatever my threshold) i can "add" more cpus or ram or whatever i want from the resources within the cluster.
i have been dreaming about this for a while now and i want to know if it is possible. if it is possible, what software do i use? and hwere is the documentation to set it up.

    thank

    1. morally speaking, the companies that sell software are companies that sell software and are not the police, so
    2. constituionally speaking they have no right to police you. only the police can give you a ticket for cutting a red light. in the same vien, the have the right to NOT offer you update or service packs or what not.
    3. they cant afford not to sell the basic version without aero. its the bloat that attracts virus/trojan/, so with time as windows users learn (ok, some will) they will begin to recommend and in practice only purchase the core without the bloat for a more secure windows.
    4. addons are a nice idea, i personally feel that if a core version was sold with additional add-ons being available as a download/cd as needed that would be nice and secure, but see point 3.
    5. they cant do vendor lockin. remember what they did to stac? to disk defragmentors? next to come are anti-spyware and antivirus and virtualisation. how? they added it to the "basic" os where the addon is office.

    my customers like it coz:
    1. centralised backup
