And the bridge section shouldn't be near as fat.
He even says that a Star Destroyer boasts "8 laser batteries" when it's a well known fact that it has 60 turbolaser cannons...not 8. If it had 8 laser cannons, two X-wings would outgun it, lol.

At my school, you mention Linux, people think it rules. You mention Windows, some people think its OK while others shudder. You mention Mac, and everyone goes nuts and calls you an idiot.

Even notice this? Linux and Mac OS X are both UNIX based, both rock stable, both insanely great OSes, but Mac OS X is user friendly and Linux is not. Yet, Linux has a reputation for being a super OS, while everyone thinks Mac sucks. What is with these people?

We should hope Microsoft won't sell their products through their vending machines. Okay, I can understand maybe buying a $50 game, but I really would feel at risk feeding $300 into a vending machine for Windows. I mean, who here has ever had a dollar eaten by a soda machine, or a quarter by an arcade machine? Can you imagine having $300 eaten by a machine?

Additionally if the machine just burns the CD's, all the copies of Windows would have the same registration numbers and you'd be unable to register it with Microsoft, forcing you to either download the hack in 30 days or throw it away.

Oh please. Why do you think that the iPod is the most popular? It's THE EASIEST TO USE.

Additionally, compare to the AOL commercials. They claim that its five times faster than normal dialup when loading pages, but you have to dig through fine print to discover that it does not apply to downloading web pages, just rendering them, and therefore hardly increases your speed. You don't see THEM getting in trouble for false advertising, do you?

On the other hand, in a number of benchmarks the G5 DOES win, and in others it barely loses. It's not like its a gigantic lie here- it does or almost does live up to its claims. Compared to other companies, it does not.

The other day I saw a weight loss ad that said, "Lose 20 pounds guaranteed or your money back!"
In tiny invisible print below that for a split second (had to pause it with a DVR to read), it said, "Average weight loss 12 pounds over 8 weeks".

THAT is a false advertisment. Apple's advertisements are partially true, on the other hand- the win in some benchmarks and lose in others.

It seems to me that FPS games play better on the computer, while the majority of other action games play better on the console. I generally buy games for console first, UNLESS the game supports Internet play, in which case I buy it for PC so I can play online. I have Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64 and I downloaded the ROM of it to see how it'd play on the PC, and slamming keys on the keyboard is vastly inferior to using a controller. On the other hand, I could never stand playing a game like Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Academy on a console with dual joysticks- I WANT A MOUSE. A game like Zelda: The Wind Waker is better on a console, and a game like Jedi Knight 2 is better on the PC.
