  1. Transhumanism has a better answer. on Just Add, Umm, Water · · Score: 0, Troll

Host your self on a computer, encase that computer in neutron star armor. No need for sex, water, food. Just plug in an antimatter energy pellet. That is a real army of one.

  2. Some thoughts and warnings. on Experiences with Laser Eye Surgery? · · Score: 2, Interesting

I had intacts (eye implants) put in and taken out. They created halos at nights which were bugging me just too much. A laser will not be reversible.

  3. Eunuchs rock. on Which Digital Video Camera for Amateur Video? · · Score: 1

It's so much more interesting--I didn't even think of this angle to the story.

  4. How can eunuchs participate? on NBC Aims For Stability Through Redundancy In Athens · · Score: 0, Offtopic

Well we woudn't pass the barr body test because our chromosomes are still XY. With the reduction in weight...perhaps the marathon.

  5. Still associated with university? on LANL, Sandia Report Losing Classified Data · · Score: 2, Funny

I was hoping that somewhere research was being conducted without being attatched to an organization with sports teams.

  6. It's not 64 more megahertz. on Apple Confirms G5 Based iMac to Ship in September · · Score: 2, Interesting

It's quite a change from G4 to G5. Not just something silly like a few more MHz. I'm a eunuch--I'm patient.

  7. It's great. on Apple Confirms G5 Based iMac to Ship in September · · Score: 1

Can fold my legs. More time to program!

  9. Waiting for the laptop on Apple Confirms G5 Based iMac to Ship in September · · Score: 1, Interesting

Or perhaps the elusive G5 laptop is being put on hold until new battery types come out?

  10. Its milking copyright on PlayStation 3 To Debut at E3 2005 · · Score: 1

Copyright should be abolished, but 5 years would be better than now. This is just getting more cash for games that already made them rich.

  11. f@off.com a@b.com on Where Do Dummy Email Addresses Go? · · Score: 1

  12. Stealing, creating? on Besieged Movie Industry Suffers Record Takings · · Score: 1

  15. So how do you copy to disk? on iPod & iTunes: The Missing Manual, 2nd Edition · · Score: 1

Religious arguments aside, how do you copy from iPod to disk? Never had one of these. I'm guessing it should just show up in a folder on the drive.

  16. Libertarian aspects. on Mike Melvill Chosen To Fly SpaceShipOne · · Score: 2, Insightful

It's a great day for libertarian values for the private sector to budge into what was only the government's territory.

  17. Soon we will be the sphere! on NASA's Personal Satellite Assistants · · Score: 1
Once we host consciousness on a computer, we are the sphere. Even now a brain should fit in a basketball-sized object.

An outer neutron star shell would make us nearly invincible too.

  18. Why always framed with disability? on Playing Games With One's Brainwaves · · Score: 1

All humans are already disabled. Why must we thirst, age, and poo? Transhumanism comes down to I/O to consciousness, and this is a major step that way. I for one am glad the disabled are testing the prototypes, but I'll be first in line to have it done no matter how "normal" I am.

  19. Details? on Playing Games With One's Brainwaves · · Score: 1

I'd like to know the accuracy. Also, I doubt it was just thinking of a color. Some subconscious other action may have accompanied it (maybe even a scam). You'd have to make it work immediately with other people (which is something we are very far from--picking out something subjective like that).

  20. But you're interested, right? on Mathematician Claims Proof of Riemann Hypothesis · · Score: 1

  21. Good job on Mathematician Claims Proof of Riemann Hypothesis · · Score: 5, Funny

It's too bad that most of society does not recognize truly great achievements like this. I, for one, admit interest but not enough knowledge of the details to read and understand the proof. I'm sure most people here on /., as representatives of the intelligent future of sentient life, have the interest as well.

  22. General anesthesia and coma on Bill Joy On His Own Future, And The World's · · Score: 2, Funny

  24. See the sig on Porn Beats Search Engines in Internet Traffic · · Score: 1

This is about transhumanism. Humans are animals, and I'd like to see that change soon.

  25. There's more to life, really. on Porn Beats Search Engines in Internet Traffic · · Score: 0, Redundant

There's some drugs (spironolactone, androcur both available without prescription at inhousepharmacy.com ) that directly act to reduce testosterone. Some SSRIs also act on the brain to reduce sex drive. Just try it--you may find there's more empowering aspects to life than porn. That bandwidth could go to looking at the night sky instead.
