It has more to do with the fees that get charged to businesses by the credit card companies for outstanding fraudulent charges. If the charge is reversed before the credit card company discovers that it is fraudulent, there are no extra (punative) fees.
You can eliminate this variability by keeping longer term averages. Four or more tank fills should be close enough. Keep in mind that the time of year (cold start temperature and driving conditions) can make a significant difference in MPG.
Dude, you're moving to Israel! Maybee that's a stretch but the panel and the companies seem to think they own their employees. How insulting, but that's what a NDA is all about, isn't it?
When selling a company that has a significant portion of its value based on the services of its employees, this is not unheard of. It is usually specified as a specific time period of continued employment. Presumably Sourcefire has compensated the employees in question sufficiently.
Very true. If there was not a need, OSS would never have gotten started. If vendors had provided good quality, resonable cost software, OSS would not exist.
expplain to me how he is any more of a liability then before he gave notice.
It is not that he is more or less of a liability, but rather that once the corporation realizes the liability, they must do something. If they do not, they could be considered negligent if something bad should happen.
AT&T Callvantage has attempted to resolve the location issue by forcing user confirmation of current location (before outgoing calls are allowed, except 911) every time they think your adapter may have been moved (essentially any power loss).
While this is somewhat brute force (how about just when the IP address changes instead), it appears to cover all cases (except user stupidity).
You do!

The IT Department is probably outsourced to the lowest bidder.
*The Ministry of Defence is kind of like the Pentagon, but without the competence.
I'm confused. Is "competence" one of those words that means something completely different in British english?

Don't settle for used 1's and 0's!
I am selling brand new 1's and 0's (still in the shrink wrap) for just $.01/kb!
What is the actual purpose?
no credit card processing fees.

Sooo, are you hiring?
If I had mod points I'd mod up just for "4417749 McGyver DVDs"
yes. Something happened in the last 10 minutes or so. Hacked? Overloaded and intentionally redirected? Are they trying to irritate the FBI?
Employees == Slaves.

Just because something isn't to your taste (or mine) doesn't make it "useless beef".
Yes, but should I be forced to subsidize it?

That would be impressive!
$99 is not that far off.
I see $145 (plus shipping) for Samsung SIRT451 High Definition Terrestial ATSC, and it seems to have an S-video output option for compatibility with my NTSC television.
I checked the posted link and google offered me theaters in my area! I did not enter my ZIP.
How did they know? My IP addresses location? Did they get my ZIP previously and record it?
My experience has been that most items are bought out at the end of the lease, so you should figure that price in for the end of lease.
Also, some leasing agencies do not break out individual items for buy out. It's an all or nothing deal.
The resulting signature was so funny, I kept it.
Hey, that's my signature!
"What's really pathetic is not Verizon but this sort of lame Web site..."
I was surprised that Verizon attacked the site.
The other eight were able to show some restraint when dealing with unhappy customers. That makes an interesting statement about Verizon.
The real question is how will the earth repond long term? That's a little harder to predict.
If we live forever, we can work forever.
