  1. From a personal trainer: on Dance Dance Revolution Hastens Heart Attack · · Score: 1

    Even extremely active sex is not as much of a workout as Cosmo and Maxim like to pretend it is.

    Honestly, I think running is probably the best cardiovascular workout you can get.

  2. ::sigh:: on Spider-Man 2 Reviewed [updated] · · Score: 1

    I got all jazzed when I saw "Nerdshack.com" in that other guy's sig, thinking it was a nerd dating site.

    You're right. There really are a lot of dumb hot chicks out there. And yes, I have hit that in the past, but once you know you CAN get some if you want it, just getting some loses its shininess quite a bit.

    Now I just need to find a real nerd dating site and I'll be set.

  3. And... on Ultima X - Odyssey Development Cancelled · · Score: 1

    ... the assholes went out of their way to buy and then kill Earth and Beyond.

    I'm STILL bitter about that. There are simply no good space-oriented MMORPGs out, period, since the sunset of EnB. SWG assuredly does not count, and EvE is boring as hell.

    I mean, sure, there are effects you can get with it that are hard to duplicate with digital (although Photoshop can do just about *anything*), but when it comes right down to it, having to wait to take your film to be processed is a gigantic annoyance when you consider that digital gives you your photograph instantly.

    Specifically, you're illustrating what is perhaps *the* major difference between Western and Eastern cultures. I sure know which side I'm on.

Our goverment hides and outright falsifies information about a myriad of things that could be enormously beneficial to its citizens and the world at large because it is beneficial to its somewhat shady, ill-defined, perhaps amoral goals.

    Do you honestly believe any governmental system can be much different?
