That's exactly the case in which we need the exact measurement of 1kg. So we can put an exact ammount of spaceship fuel© into our spaceship, and get the hell away from the planet.

I also tend to find women more attractive if I like their personality, and consider even good looking women to be 'ugly' overall if they are evil bitches.

Can we get a pole up, so we can get numbers to prove to the US television industry that evil bitches are not attractive, and shouldn't be given/star in TV shows? (I'm looking at you; The Hills, Tila Tequila, Real World, etc etc).

Won't be blu-ray, that'd just be too expensive. Plus the fact that Nintendo would have to license it from Sony (not going to happen) makes it even more unlikely. I'm not going to guess what the last secret is, but I'm sure it'll be something big.

The biggest reason for our lack of advancement in space has been money. Yes, we can build "many many" more shuttles, but at $2 billion each, is it really worth that, when the money could be put into other programs, to help combat poverty/hunger/educational problems (not that the money would actually go there, but that's the argument that's made).

Fresh water is cheap and plentiful in the majority of the U.S. and that's not about to change any time soon. Plus the "old" way just plain works so there's no major incentive to change things.

Also, what effect will a more concentrated (less dilluted with water) waste have on the environment?

Good point. With the way water treatment facilities are set up right now, so much of the water that gets flushed down the toilet is recycled and watering somebody's lawn, especially in the more water-smart cities.

Which is part of why, as bigger TVs become more affordable, and more people get them, controllers are going wireless. The Gamecube really started it with the wavebird, which proved to be a perfect proof of concept to Microsoft and Sony (and Logitech, who came to their rescue this generation). And now, all of the next gen controllers are going to be wireless (unless you count the "core" Xbox360 system), since RF and improvements in batteries makes it feasible.

Also works just like an external hard drive (can't pull mp3s off an ipod to a friend's computer)
Also works as a USB host, so I can take the pictures off my camera's memory card on long stints away from a computer.
Also plays ANY DivX/XviD encoded video, no matter the resolution. And included a cable to output to TV.
Also has a microphone for recording voice (record lectures all the time this way)
Also has an audio-in adapter (included) for recording from a source (ex: audio mixer)
    Also plays cellphone games.
