Between paying extra if you wanna pre-order a game, no discounts, not accepting any sort of currency but American, the application reminds you none stop when Origin is minimized, its buggy as all hell. I'm amazed Origin is still around.
And you aren't defining the specific px placement of the div because...?
Your fault for using style=float:left
But honestly, I know what your saying, with your example its gonna be a problem when the new CSS 3.0 gonna be implented and most webdesigners will use the div border image tag...and we all know the old browsers won't support it, nor some new ones until a later time. To solve this you will need to create a table around the div, so you can have that border image effect.
Honestly, we are all screwed unless something changes, either all browsers are to follow one standard, or webdesigners keep the code they have and not go with the new simplistic way of making things.
I beleive this is like the 3rd article on/. that covers the global warming problem, yet I don't remember reading a solution for the the problem yet. So what are the solutions?
Guy only thing they monopolize (sp) is that its hard to switch OS for normal PC users because distributors such as Dell, Gateway, Alienware have Windows pre-installed in their system because they have a contract with Microsoft.
Im ignorant? Child, hate to break it to you, MS is not breaking the law for not distributing other browsers in their OS, because it's >their product, what they are guilty of is having their products all over the place and having contracts with all of these distributors and buying off the competition.
By your logic, Nike is monopolizing because they sell their sneakers with only 1 pair of shoe laces that are made by (lets say BH company.) who have a contract with Nike. If your definition of "monopoly" was accurate that would mean that Nike would have to distribute a more then 1 pair of shoe laces with their sneakers because if not then they screw out the other shoe laces companies.
Stop bitching about MS, switch to unix and get on with your life.
Im sorry i never bought a computer that had any browser pre-installed.
Oh you mean operating system? Its a microsoft product, they are allowed to pre-install what they like. Don't like it? Get a different OS or go to a Mac.
Thats great and all, but can you explain to the "non-warez-mongers" who cant active there key even if we have the windows xp box right in front of us, we copied the serial key exactly and microsoft technical support says "sorry we dont understand what the problem is, your just gonna have to cope with that"
Just because a person cant get passed WGA does not mean they got the software illegally (most likely, but in some instances that is not the case)
Well in a way it is, yeh sure I don't watch tv, except for the occasional mythbusters, or adult swim, other then that I never rely on TV, but I hate to think that if corporations leave the TV commercial buisness they will find a different way, such as online, and im not talking about the 1/2 banners we see now, how about 5/6 popups on a normal website, or advertising in school or other things that i can't think of now...
There are tv's now that keep the decimal of the volume to a standard once you set it, for instance if you put volume 50% it wont go over that volume or below that volume.
Don't tv stations, such as CW, UPN, Spike TV depend on commercial content on their channels for money?
If we have technology were we can now officially block off commercial content on TV what will that mean to the TV stations? Won't this make corporations thing "well they gonna block the commercial anyway, so there is no point in buying a timeslot on Techtv since nobody is gonna watch it", will this not make tv stations go bankrupt?
I know a few people that run websites for the fans not for the merchandise. I rather seen fan-based websites then garbage like firingsquad who review the latest crap and give it great reviews because they get free stuff.
If you run a website just to get free stuff = not loyal to your viewers and your more of a corporation then anything.
Anybody notice how ign.com always puts resident evil games as #1 on all their lists? Its disguisting, im sure they gonna be the first ones to review the newest Resident evil game for this.
So very very true, but while on the subject many companies do that, when I used to review games for a site way back in the day, the distributor didn't wanna give us some games because of the bad reviews we gave out. Suprisingly one game company, completely forgot the name of both the company and game. They were so astounished by what their game got as in review points (it was really bad) that they sent us a copy of their next game to review for them before releasing it, thinking we had a better outlook on the game then most of the other websites.
Moral of the story is, don't hide your mistakes, embrace it and fix them.
Because this is more of a email program vulnerability then browser vulnerability. If people actually research this, they would realize this is an old problem that existed since IE6 and it deals with opening a link in your email program through internet explorer, but you should know better then to open unknown emails in your inbox, the fact that you do, you deserve to get what you get.

Good job/.
Do Firefox fan boys get a nickel everytime they defend firefox? Honestly, this browser fan boy war needs to end, this isn't digg.com, we are more civilized.
Besides, if firefox had as many users as internet explorer, im sure their would be vulnerabilities popping up from left to right for FF.
Netscape 4.0? Christ who uses that, im sorry but when I do have the time to work on sites for people, I make it compatible for Internet Explorer 5.5+, Firefox, Opera, im not gonna support a browser that doesnt support basic stuff such as XHTML (Im looking at you aol browser users)

They should have stopped releasing "Final Fantasy" games after they changed there name to SquareEnix.
Well if the global warming craze didnt tell you anything, I give it 20 years, and you can see whats really at the bottom of the ocean...
And you didn't feed or shelter him because? God damn murderer...

Scottie Chapman and Kari Byron
Would anybody be suprised if companies like gamestop/bestbuy will go on ebay themselves and sell some of there console systems for more money?
I would expect to play both PS1 and PS2 games when I buy the PS3, thats one of the reasons im buying it.
The question is, is it gonna be the same game? Or different, I'd hate for somebody to have a used copy of FF while I get a damn basketball game...
Im more impressed with the power supply the PS3 comes with, the site shown here doesn't display it, but here is the image...Powersupply
Truley remarkable as to how small it is, and can power up the PS3. You can see other images here
grammAr :)

Still dont like it? Don't post here.
The people "with no clue" wouldnt download FF or opera anyway. Give it a break, you FF kiddies are as bad as the MS kiddies.

Question is why they doing this now, especially near the PS3 release, bad move on their part.
