do you have any proof of this? because they look pretty real to me.

In konqueror settings, in the "konqueror browser" area, under the java script tag, there is an option that does just that. It is called "JavaScript web popups policy". there are 3 options, allow, deny, and ask. deny disables them globally, ask pops up a dialog whenever soemthing tried to open one, and aksks whether to allow it.
@homes routers always do a lot of arping, but latley i have noticed alot mre than uasual. maybe a switch in broadcast mode, or a routed losing its arp cache.
umm, sorry but no. 900mhz is not an amatuer band, it is an unliscensed band. So even if you are liscensed, you are still limited to 1 watt. Also i had heard that the modems use encryption on the links, so if you did claim that you were allowed to use an amp because you have your amatuer radio lisecnse, you would be violating another regulation about codes and cyphers.
yes,.cx really is for christmas island, a small island north of austrilia that i think is an indepent countr controlled by australia, i dont quite understand it. for more info see http://www.nic.cx
It sounds to me like the problem is that you are not skilled at surface mount soldering. I can solder 2mm spaced leads without a microscope. With a microscope it is possible to solder 1mm spaced leads by hand. But no matter how good you are, you will never be able to solder 14 awg solid copper to anything meant to be surface mounted, they are decided to be soldered onto a pcb. When i have to solder wire onto things that small, i use wirewrap wire, usualy 36 awg copper. Another tip, glue things down before you solder them, and just because your rig goes to 50 watts, doesnt mean you need to use 50 watts, a lot of these components have low heat tolerences.
yes, from what i have heard they get beetween 1 and 3 percent commision on the sale of a wintel machine, where on a mac they get 1% if anything, they make more money on a peecee.
This is by design, it is so if you let you domain name expire, someone lese cant immeadiatly get it. It doesnt rexolve, but you have a chance to buy it back beofre someone else does.
No, i dont see the irony. You seem to be making the connection agian that others on here make all to often, that the only people who are pro-datafreedom, anti-copyright, etc. are linux users, and all linux users are anit-copyright.
the best example i have seen of this is in the interview last week with the guy from IBM, wheresome one asked how they could support linux if they were working ont heings like cprm, the guy responded that those two things have nothing to do with each other.
Hacking for human rights is not the name of the conference, Defcon is the name of the coference, "hacking for human rights" was the name of a talk given at defcon.
I have always been of the opinion that big brothers and the likes of that are jsut clones of real world, and personally, i think MTV was better at choosing casts.
When asked what there ccTLD was, they replied that they had not applied for one, and were not planning on it, becuase of the amount of hassle it invloved, dealing withUN, etc.. Im guessing the real reason for this, is if they tried, it would not be granted, and all it would accomplish is setting a precedent that they are not a real country.
This is fake, sealand citizenship is not open to all, PRINCIPALITY-SEALAND.NET is not the real site for sealand, it is run by someone who has nothing do with sealnd, and is just trying to make money. Something like 20 people have real sealand passports, they are prince roy, his family, and some of the people involved with havenco, any others are a fake, please mod the parent post down, there is no reason to mod up a post promoting a scam.
1. what CPU does it use, is it supported by linux?
2. What sort of graphics hardware does it have, is there an X server that supports it?
3. What do you want to do with it? X, console? Do you want to use it as an address book and calendar?
4. You mentioned something about java, is there a jdk that will run on its cpu?
5. How is the OS stored on it, flash, or is it designed to be non-upgradable?
6. How does it connect to another computer for data transfer, A serial port? Is it a standard serial port, or a custom proprietary port?
If you look at all those things and it look slik elinux should run on itc spu, adn X should support it, i recomnend either modifying one of the distributions for ipaq(check out handhelds.org), or rolling your out(check out the linux from scrathc page). If you choose to roll your own, i suggest finding a cross compiler that will run on a pc and building everything there. Also check out if there is an emulator for it, that would make things alot easier if you decide to roll your own. And if you do get it working, make a web page about it, and submit it to slashdot, im sure lots of people would be interested in anothe rPDA that can run linux.

about the frequency, yes, i was wrong, i was under the impression that richochet was up at 950. And amutuers are secondary users of ther band.
but about codes and cyphers, they are only allowed for purposes of checksumming or authentiaction.
fcc rules part 97.113 , section 4 contains the following under prohibited emmisions:
"messages in codes or ciphers intended to obscure the meaning thereof".

sounds great, and very illegal, IIRC the max ouput on 900mhz is 1 watt.
finally, someone has made a beowulf cluster of monitors.
umm, no, try 1024 megabytes.
A p2p filesharing company finally found a way to make money, i never thought it would happen.

It is the same in the USA, except here you can end up in jail for it. it is called "possesion of stolen property".

If its insecure, you must stay clear.
umm, this is a very real product, i saw their booth at RSAcon this year.

By the government of sealand, i mean prince roy.
By real i mean officially endorsed by the government of sealand.

I think on linux cdParanoia can do ripping of things with bad blocks, so really, it should be no issue at all.
