I find it odd how the first and least powerful next-gen system is now at the highest price point. I guess it just goes to show how big Sony has become in the gaming industry. Even though I still view them as an outsider in an industry where Sega and Nintendo were once kings.
The plot of the next Tomb Raider game should kind of be a reverse from the standard. Lara Croft should put the Tomb Raider franchise in an unreachable tomb so that no one can ever retrieve it. I hope this is what he will do if ever attached to the franchise.
Who wants to a laptop that will probably have a 45 minute battery life?

Wheres WOPR? Here's some suspense for you a computer has to play tic-tac-toe against itself and learn the game has no winner before it gets the 10-character passcode to launch all US ICBM's, effectively destroying the world. Throw in a young Ferris Bueller and Stephanie from Short Circuit and you've got yourself a novel.
There are certainly some achievments of technology in movies that should be included in the Digital Oscar Hall of Fame
1. HAL
2. WOPR (WarGames)
3. the designers for Terminator 3 (Terminator boobies are now one of my top fantasies)
Jennifer Garner hosts to highlight the technological achievments that make her look better on camera. It's just a simple thanks that she has to give due to her lack of acting ability (have you seen Daredevil)
When will it end? Next up on the block are sports games because we can't have games with competition. I mean kids today might lose and we cant have that.
It's cartoon violence people. This has been around since the 1950's, and god forbid a kid plays this game. Its much better if a kid is playing this than Grand Theft Auto III.
Babu is from Pakistan. He's also a chef so I don't really worry about him taking jobs. In fact, I would like a restaurant where I could eat chinese, italian, or a sandwich.
Windows comes installed with Notepad, so now Windows comes installed with Notepad, EditPlus and UltraEdit. (even though they are better than notepad)
Windows comes installed with MS Paint so can I get Photoshop installed with Windows.
There will always be fanatics to a certain game that will devote the time necessary to create a place for followers of the game with all these services. PC gamers tend to have longer-attention spans than console gamers and stick to usually at most 4 online games at any give point. I just dont think that the market is there.
The problem with Open Source is that there are no controls as to what someone may program. You know I've seen WarGames I know what a back door is. Also a question of accountability. I hate to say it but for some things I am forced to trust Microsoft, not because of the quality of the work but for the accountability that they are held to. They have to make a semi-reliable and safe system or else they got out of business. This insures the proper cycle of software development and testing.
Like with almost any job, employers are not looking for a degree specifically in computer forensics. I would suggest focusing on CS, especially the areas related to forensics. Also exhibit a strong intrest in criminology and work on the connections between the two by yourself.
Good luck.
What training is given to them to understand the Western culture that their products are meant to serve? Is there some sort of liason who answers questions about the good ol US of A? Are you meant to assume certain things?
I live my an independent music store that recently shut down due to a Best Buy open up right next door. While the Best Buy is able to offer cheaper prices and more variety, they lack the human interaction I found at my local recordstore. I knew many of the sales associates there and valued their opinion as to what music to buy. They always knew the newest indie rock band to recommend to me, while at Best Buy the only thing recommended to me is Britney Spears, crappy nu-metal, or some talentless mainstream musician.
I'm sorry for the confusion. I was referring to on-campus recruiters who are often HR representatives of the company wishing to hire someone. These are not the third-party recruiters you are referring to. Sorry again.
Spider-man vs. John Madden
Wolverine vs. Tiger Woods
Captain America vs. that guy in Medal of Honor
Jean Grey vs. James Bond
Iceman vs. (insert SSX character)
The Hulk vs. car from Need for Speed
any other suggestions?
I really don't feel you have to focus on exclusivity to Network Engineering. I feel that most schools with programs in Network Engineering are not the most recognizable. I suggest you focus on a CS degree or a computer engineering degree. If you perform well in either of these fields you should be able to land almost any job in the industry. Recruiters look at your college record and see what kind of person you are based on your grades, difficulty of classes, and experience gained. The actual information learned is rather insignificant to the kind of person you are.
1. Missle Command (we need a new one)
2. Super Maris Bros (I get chased by big turtles, and my princess girlfriend gets kidnapped by a dragon every once in awhile)
3. Pac-Man, the race for survival... I can only survive by collecting dots, and have four silly named ghosts trying to kill me.

I am going to name my first child :-) . Because he/she will the happiest child in the world with a name like :-)
There is no way that we should ever "celebrate" spam ... Maybe we can celebrate the eradication of spam, but never the anniversary.

Definitely not true. Crappy music is just bad, crappy porn is literally full of crap. They poop on each other, eat it etc.

Wheres Duke Nukem Forever?
How many additional accidents will be caused by the extra stimuli caused by these systems? I see this to be as distracting as cell phones.
