I was thinking some kind of PDA. Without homebrew software the PSP does games, movies, music, and photos...and even those are pretty limited (only very specific movie and MP3 formats, etc). A Palm or PocketPC can do all that except for the games plus a whole lot more. I'm not a big gamer anyway.
Database of games which force firmware upgrades?

Someone should create a database that reports which games force updates so those of us who want to keep our PSP at 1.50 can do so without guessing which games we can and cannot use.
This is awesome, I was considering selling my PSP to get something more versatile, but think I'll keep it for awhile longer.
If you only have one memory stick would it be possible to load the first file using a card reader, insert, get it set up, remove, load the second file, insert, hit the button?
Bye the way, this "Type the crazy laetter sin this image" thing is fuckin hard when you're drunk
So its the wait 2 minutes trhing, i almsot passed out while i was waiting...
I remember in middle school at the computer teacher's TA I was given the task of opening up a couple dozen Alphasmarts and replacing the ROM chips to upgrade the software.

He said "OS X is the number one UNIX in the world" although before that he did say "It's UNIX based"
I'm not sure how PS2 modchips work, but with Xbox most modchips ship with a completely legal BIOS called Cromwell (or some others), which is based on Linux, not a hacked MS BIOS. Cromwell itself cannot be used to play "backups" or anything else, the only thing it can do is flash the modchip with a BIOS that the user provides (usually obtained from IRC or otherwise). Technically the modchip sold in this form shouldn't be illegal, since it cannot be used for illegal purposes without modification. Right?
"Electronica" is another term made up by the media and others to describe "electronic music". "Electronic music" makes a lot of sense...since most of it is made electronically...
Heck, I'm a 21 year old "kid" and I didn't know that!

I don't remember the exact words, but during the WWDC 2004 keynote Steve Jobs himself said Mac OS X was the worlds biggest UNIX distribution.

There is for the LinkSys WRT54G, as mentioned in TFA, not sure about D-Link, maybe if it supports WDS.
