Freedom of speech is one thing, having your names forever published in an online encyclopedia is quite another. Are you suggesting every criminal has their name and crime published in wikipedia ? What about juvenile offenders ? If you accept that then you would seem to be in favour of mob rule.
I wonder if they've thought of using the robotic arm, either to dig away some of the sand obstructing the wheels or to support the rover while they try to move it. I know from driving 360 excavators that your arm can be most useful in that respect, especially if you move the arm backwards at the same time as pushing down and driving. Maybe the arm's not strong enough, or the rover can't operate its wheels and the arm at the same time, but surely that's just programming. An alternative is to pick up small stones and place them by the wheels to get some traction. There is a more complete pictorial record here.
It's not blackmail, it's extortion and is still illegal. Either go to the authorities or don't, but you can't threaten to "unless" the other party complies with your wishes. You can say "If it's not fixed by Friday I'm going to the police" but not "do this or I'll make things bad for you". The former gives them a real choice the latter is an order with menaces.
The moons creation may have added some more elements to the mix, but as oxygen is the 3rd most plentiful gas in the universe (after hydrogen and helium), there's pretty likely to be lots of water everywhere. Having an atmosphere and a magnetic field make it easier for it to stick around in puddles on earth.
sudo is shit. What is the point anyway ? Either you've got root, or you assume it with sudo and have exactly the same privileges.
sudo allows a permitted user to execute a command as the superuser or
another user, as specified in the sudoers file. The real and effective
uid and gid are set to match those of the target user as specified in
the passwd file and the group vector is initialized based on the group
file (unless the -P option was specified). If the invoking user is
root or if the target user is the same as the invoking user, no pass-
word is required.
Aah reality C, where a really big number is supposed to make everything ok. The USA alone uses roughly 7 billion barrels a year, and that figure has been increasing by 3% year on year. If you take your 1.5 trillion figure for the US alone, then you have maybe 200 years of oil left. But I'm guessing you'll sell some of that so less than 200 years. And the rest of the world might like to use some of their oil too. If the rest of the world were to use oil at the same rate as the USA, then those 3.2 trillion barrels known world reserves will last about 20 years.
USA consumption = 7 billion barrels / year
USA population = 308 million
World population = 6.8 billion
6.8 billion / 308 million = 22.08
22.08 * 7 billion barrels = 154.56 billion barrels per year
3.2 trillion / 154.56 billion = 20.7 years And those are very conservative population figures. In 10 years there could be easily another billion people.
Don't panic, I'm sure you'll be along with some bigger numbers shortly. How you can extrapolate the situation to being sustainable for 1000s of years is beyond my maths. But you blame it on the president mate, I'm sure that'll help.
Do you realise that it only costs "big oil" around $10 per barrel extracted from the ground. And they are currently selling said barrels of oil on at $79 per barrel. That looks like a healthy $70 a barrel profit right there, before you get to forecourt pricing. In 2007, ExxonMobil made a net profit of $40.6 billion. Shell made $31.3 billion, Chevron made $18.7 billion, ConocoPhillips made $11.9 billion and BP made $20.8 billion.
Yeah, big oil is the middle man, and they're getting fat. Capitalism at its finest, buy low, sell high. What was your point ?
We do not own the BBC shows at all. Virtually everything the BBC transmits is bought in. Sure, a lot of it is made in conjunction with the BBC, but the end product is owned by the production company. Life, Planet Earth, Horizon, Newsnight, Sports, comedy - all made by privately held production companies and sold to the BBC.
So yes we would get the DRM, unless the BBC pays up for the licensing rights.
I'm warning you now, I've been given 15 mod points, so any twat who posts something stupid will be modded troll. don't blame the player, blame the game.
There are at least two circuits in the UK. You have a ring main which feeds the lighting circuit and separate runs for power sockets. The ring main is only 15A IIRC. If you are wiring in a new light switch dropping from a junction box on the ring main, what comes in to the switch on the live wire leaves the switch on the neutral wire. After it's been through the light itself, it rejoins the neutral circuit. The earth is just a straight feed. And the onus is not on the plug, all recent buildings (last 30 years) have RCD built into what used to be called the fuse panel. The fuse in the plug is a separate item for the devices protection, not the humans. I don't think even a 3A fuse would help if you shorted wires with your tongue.
EXCEPT when the brakes are competing with a wide open throttle. You don't generally brake hard while simultaneously flooring the throttle. Neither of your questions addresses simultaneous operation. So no, not QED. Ever been to a tractor pull ? Two identical machines, one uses brakes and the other one goes full throttle in the other direction. The braking one gets dragged backwards, without locking the wheels. So brakes are stronger ?
of course you could always GO WITHOUT ! oh no that won't do, cant be seen to deny the public. Jesus, why should they provide all you want when you want on pain of you getting it anyway ? And to be honest, I don't care anyway, why should they get anything on pain of govt. punishment ? Fuck the lot of you. I'll pay if it's worth it and not before. You can spend hours and hours on the best shit you can come up with but unless it's worth having don't expect me to pay for it. It doesn't work like that. I pay for good stuff, not stuff you think is good.
You are all spoiled children. You only have to look at any topic on this site and read the inane, immature comments, backed up by schoolyard logic, and very little fact. If the govt. does something wrong it's always the other sides fault, if energy gets expensive it's somebody elses fault, if the planet gets fucked it's somebody elses fault. I have yet to see anybody here admit the slightest guilt in any action your govt. takes whether it's at home or abroad.
Whenever the govt. takes forward looking action you drag it down, if they don't take action you drag them down. You refuse to spend any money but expect everything done for you, you don't want immigration but you want ever cheaper services, you want high paying jobs but you also want home grown industry (who want to pay less and profit more). Then there is this messianic longing for the world "the founders" intended despite the fact that the world is a very different place from 200 years ago. Back then there was a whole continent to conquer and environmentalism was non-existent, you could kill all the animals and rape the land. But you've had to find out the hard way that you can't keep that up for ever. And you still haven't learned. Now when your resources get low you take from another country, and pretend you're liberating them. The funds you promise to spend to help their democracy rebuild end up in your own pockets, and then your bankers sell fraudulent stocks and get rewarded by the worlds taxpayers. You complain about not being able to get loans and start new companies, but if you really wanted to start a company you don't need a loan - fucking save the money yourself ! Oh, but then the risk would be all yours, we can't have that. Playground politics, playground economics, and playground foreign policy. Grow up.
Back when the "founders" wrote their document, people actually got off their asses and did something to better their lives. You lot won't get off your ass to change the tv channel. You're the Peoples Front of Judea.
You are wrong on so many levels. Firstly, they are not volunteers. They get paid for every meeting they attend and they get expenses paid for any work they undertake as a council member. Secondly, are you suggesting that democracy means you cannot exercise free speech ? Thirdly, are you suggesting that elected officials, who presumably had to canvas support in order to get elected, are so unsure of their position that a single person can force them to resign without so much as a struggle ? And lastly, if you as a member of the electorate exposed a scandal involving the council and publicised it, are you then guilty of something or are you doing the electorate a favour ?
Seriously, if they resigned over one persons so called ravings, then they didn't have much authority to start with, not to mention cahones. I know that if I found financial irregularities in a councils spending and could reliably document it, it would be my duty to inform the electorate. I have no interest in being a councillor, but that doesn't mean they can get away with it. Why should I invest time and money in making myself electable merely to point out the illegal activities of others ?
I repeat, if the whole council resigns over 1 persons unsubstantiated rant, then either they have got skeletons to hide or they are worthless as politicians. Politicians argue all the time, that's what they do. But one non elected person can force their resignation ? Please.... Are they going to take their toys and go home ?
No ones expecting anything to be forgotten, brushed under the rug, or whitewashed from history.

They would have to be. It's a long way to go to launch 2 kamikaze missions.

Or are you a creationist troll ?
Black holes aren't black. At ease, proles.
WHO FUCKING CARES ?
These people are blind, not stupid.

One percent WHAT of glass ? Opacity, length, weight, density ? Useless fucking statement.
Quite remote area ? If you're in NY then Seattle is quite remote too. Except Cornwall is only about 300 miles from the English capital.

Well they sure didn't "borrow" it !
There is no festival in Glastonbury, and never was. It is held near Pilton, and always was.
Huh, Choruss sounds a lot like My Precioussss ...
