Why is NTLM not supported in Opera, even though IE and Firefox support it out of the box? It's a feature many Opera users have requested for several versions now, especially in corporate environments. I know about the NTLM Authorization Proxy Server, but that's an inconvenient workaround. Is NTLM support something we can look forward to in the future?
Since when has Windows come bundled with a compiler? And given Microsoft's 90-something percent of the PC market, wouldn't an OS coming with a compiler be the exception to the rule anyway?
This Chineeman is not the issue! I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, Dude. Across this line you do not, uh--and also, Dude, Chineeman is not the preferred, uh... Asian-American. Please.
Hey the French Kicks are pretty sweet. You found them on Sirius? I saw them a few years ago in Pittsburgh, opening up for The Dismemberment Plan. It was a great show.
First off, you shouldn't totally uninstall it, else you lose access to Windows Update. Sure you can use the auto-update, but you lose a lot of control that way, and you won't get access to the non-critical patches that way.
On top of that, the benefit of freeing up the drive space IE requires is not worth the headahce of trying to remove the damn thing, especially since part of it is built into the OS. Instead, if you have the Service Patch installed, you can use the Control Panel uninstall, which simply removes access to IE. At least it'll keep IE "out of sight, out of mind..."
He wouldn't lament, he'd unleash the fury.
Actually, he'd threaten to unleash the focking fury, and then he'd threaten to kill Mr. Fripp.

Use a hardware firewall when reconnecting, if at all possible - like the ones in most routers.
Ah but I don't believe most slashdotters have that required prerequisite...

Tony Bove: This road map goes to.... 12?
"The 90 million-year-old reptile, called Buitreraptor gonzalezorum, belongs to the same sickle-clawed group of dinosaurs..."
Whether or not you subscribe to the whole "dinosaurs became birds" theory, there is no question that dinosaurs != reptiles! That's 3 in America, actually. Two in NY, one in California.
Crashes are rare and nearly always attributable to poorly-coded pages.
I've NEVER seen graphics rendered improperly on Opera.
Been using Opera for ~3 years now, at home and at work
Run along now, little troll....
Since when is there a 'G' digit in hex?

Release to Manufacturers
I get ten times the spam on my Gmail account (less than a year old) that I get on my Hotmail account (~5 years old).

Despite all the Intel-trashing above, the really interesting part of the Pentium D (dual cores) is the price:
Intel's Pentium D Price Half That Of AMD's X2Seriously, there needs to be a derivative of Godwin's Law that involves Gandhi's quote....
Minivan: safer, better milege, less top-heavy. 'Nuff said.
Nope. It's in line for IE7

Beautiful. You made my day!
Now that I think of it, can anyone name a few games off the top of their head that utilize true 5.1?
Doom 3 for one, baby!

Looks look others made that mistake; the title's been changed.
