  1. Re:Here we go again on New Gravity Theory Dispenses with Dark Matter · · Score: 1

After reading a few of the comments here I feel like my personal understanding of both dark matter and gravitons is flawed.

I did understand it like this: Dark matter was basically "invented" to explain why the universe was expanding slower than it actually should. Dark matter only interacts with the rest of the universe with its mass, thus via Gravitation
While Gravitons are the particle behind behind gravitation. So, aren't Gravitons and Dark Matter more or less the same?
As I said i have my doubts if my understanding is correct. Anyone able to point out my missunderstanding?

Anyway, most of the game has considerably improved since u left. Especially POS (Player owned Stations) give High-end players lots of new abilities. Also Joe Average has way more abilities to make money like complexes and the new agent system. And the player-run economy is pretty cool and imho the best implementation of this concept so far.
Though the Tech2 Blueprints are still a problem which pisses a lot of people off (me being one of those).

I remember reading an article about a woman who was born with exactly this genetic fault. I don't remember if this research has anything to do with this specific person, or if it even worked in a similar way.
She didn't do stupid stuff like beating people up or jumping off a roof. Keep in mind that humans don't completely rely on instincts to judge most situations. She was at least as intelligent as other people, but she totally lacked common sense and the least bit of suspiciousness. Thus she was totally dependant to her friends who had to save her from trusting the ocassional asshole who tried to abuse her behaviour.

These arent racists. They are simply rioters, rioting for the sake of it. They have fun destroying stuff. They are no better than the punks who "visited" the annual may-riots in berlin. Politicians kept talking about "deescalation" (The Police was ordered to not provoke them and leave them alone) while the riots became more and more violent every year.

Though, finally the idea of deescalation was dropped.
