You've not seen my fridge:) UK fridges tend to be fairly small, and with two housemates, the fridge is quickly filled up with just day to day foods, let alone having a side of pork in a ziploc in the bottom:(
As for the smoking, I'd prefer to do a cold smoke. I would build a smoke house in the garden, but unfortunately we're renting, so that doesn't make too much sense.
A small caveat: I purchase good quality smoked bacon, manufactured locally, from a proper butchers, so it'll be rather different from the pumped full of water rubbish you buy from a supermarket. If I had the space and a smoke house, I'd cure and smoke it myself.
Maybe where you live - here in the UK, bacon is principally meat, with a thin edging of fat. I'm told our bacon is similar to what's called Canadian Bacon in the US, whereas American Bacon is similar to what we call Streaky Bacon. Streaky Bacon is rarely eaten anymore due to being horrendously fattening, unhealthy, and simply not as tasty as good back.
The War On Drugs is sooo last century - didn't they get the memo that we're fighting the War On Terror now? They haven't sensationalised it enough - they've got chemical attacks on water supplies in there, but it's too subtle - where's expolsives detection at customs on their list?
Call me a cynic, but I reckon it's because once they're no longer dependent upon anyone else, they're free to force their will and values on all and sundry.
I imagine the homosexuals don't support the idea that the government *they also fund* provides benefits to breeders, but you don't see them withholding payment, or trying to get breeder support programs shut down.
It's not like they're suddenly going to start breeding if you tell them they can't get married. Not letting them marry isn't going to make them go out and find breeding partners and settle down. Either way has no effect on the institution of marriage, since the groups are seperate at a fundamentally lower level.
Um, you do realise the Internet is made up of more than one network, right? And that many of the networks making it up are own by telecoms companies, like, ooh, I dunno, BT? And that some of these companies are multinational, and so have networks that spread across the globe? These companies also have other networks, running other protocols other than "Internet protocol".
Get a DJ's CD flight case. They have an index and thumbs so you can quickly find what you're looking for, and they're roadie proof, so your discs will be plenty safe enough. Leave the silica gel in there to help stop condensation ruining your precious discs.
Out of interest, how would you suggest someone makes money out of single player, non-networked games?
When did they change?
The moment the first line of Finest Columbian went up their nostril?

Time machine in particular looks like star trek computers.
Nonsense! Anyone who's watched Star Trek knows that you can't even copy data without wiping the source media clean, let alone keep a file history.
You've obviously had bad bacon, since the stuff I eat is nothing like a slice of ham.

"It makes it the equivalent of massive hyperbole amongst rational discussion!"

It's a left over from the socialist years - any person, from any class, of any colour, creed, sex, or sexuality, is free to enjoy a good beating.
Dish one out, on the other hand, is another matter entirely...
Because nothing says "free" and "open" like coercion and strong arm tactics!
"Our multiprocessor technology doesn't scale, but we don't want to scare investors away, so we'll pretend it doesn't matter."
I'm in the UK, and the coke can on my desk is aluminium.
If you think taking drugs is anywhere near as dull as playing a Mario game, you need to get out more.
And that's just their allies ;)

And that, along with just a dash of racism, is why it's illegal.
What a wonderfully long tradition buying laws has...
To be fair to Stargate, they aren't extracting zero point energy from this universe, but from a pocket universe contained within the ZPM.

Sounds more like their main reason for switching is cashing in on buzzwords.
Because the way I'm looking at it, it has the intention of making Apple close ITMS in France...

You seem to be umder the mistaken impression that your civil liberties are in any better state than those of the UK...
Um, when one is a person who doesn't like Python, maybe? We do exist, you know.
