GnomeBaker is good for basic burning, but it is one buggy piece of software still--k3b is pretty much stable for me. GnomeBaker is also missing some features k3b has had for awhile like getting rid of the 2 second gap between audio tracks (hey I need this!). This is coming from my experience of using GnomeBaker about two months ago. Compared to k3b, GnomeBaker is not ready for primetime IMO. Haven't tried graveman though.

Thats not saying much really. Before G4 took over I could see the channel was going downhill by itself & fast. The two of them(Webb & Rose) were just one of the many obvious signs that, IMHO, why the channel was sinking in the first place.

Morgan, transferring over to X-Play from TSS to co-host with Sessler, was an obvious move to bring some "eye-candy" to X-Play and grab more ratings from the 13-26 age crowd that TechTV was aiming for at the time. I can't stand her, she is annoying. Where was the Morgan that was on TSS? There seems to have been a total transformation of Ms. Webb after she began hosting duties at X-Play. Was she drinking the same coffee Adam drinks? I don't know. I won't comment on Kevin R. as I have expressed my dislike for him enough on throughout the world wide web.

With TechTV filling their lineup with crappy Jap anime(are they competeing with Cartoon Network?) and junkyard robots attempting to wail on eachother who could not see that TechTV wasn't already a sinking ship back then? TechTV's golden age was when it was ZDTV; that was when it was a real geek channel! p/P

No offense to the Kevin Rose's fanboys here on Slashdot or at G4, but for me personally I could never tolerate that "hacker wannabe". I'd say TSS begin its downhill descent into oblivion when the producers gave Kevin his own segment and eventually hosting duties.

For some reason I always got the impression of him trying to hard to push some type of "1337 hacker" image that was laughable and down right stupid. If it wasn't for his little short-lived thebroken show I would have thought it was the producers of TSS that advised him to be that way, but I guess not.

I guess he really wanted to look like a some uber-hacker god for all the script kiddies that viewed the show. But alas I stopped watching TSS over a year ago and G4 as well.
