Washington Post: Hello! Year 2000: Hello Washington Post! We'd like our story back!
Really this is not news. Maybe a couple of years ago this would have been front page material but I guess its a Sunday and that excuses the posting of "News for Ners that just woke up out of a five year coma. Stuff that matters five years previously."
By not using OS X, you negate the main factor behind buying a Mac in the first place - and in so doing significantly reduce its value when compared with equivilently priced PC hardware.
Steve Jobs is that you? Go choke on an ipod shuffle please.
a Star Trek Enterprise fan working for the LA Times has arranged a special deal for a discounted ad.
So I guess the other fan will foot the bill? As the saying goes, "Two heads are better than one." But in this case two Star Trek fans are starting annoy the rest of the SciFi community!
1. Develop crappy exploitable browser and distribute browser for free.
2. Refuse to seriously fix free browser.
3. Buy anti-virus and anti-spyware companies.
4. Sell anti-virus product to clean up after your free crappy exploitable brower.
5. Use monopoly desktop OS position to drive-out the competition.
6. Profit.
Well I haven't touched Fedora since its first release so I had no idea they were using that. Whether there is eyecandy or better look to the bootup stuff doesn't really intrigue me. I'm happy the way it is.
Now I see why the Fedora way of doing a splash screen isn't really catching on - nobody else can seem to tell the difference between that and the older, crustier bootsplash.
Or the majority of users are not interested and/or there is no demand for any implementation of splash screens period.
Mod parent up. Although the AVNs are probably the only one worth watching, aslong as you have a Tivo and the remote in one hand and the other hand holding...the beer can.;)
Come on! If the Oscars had categories like "Best Comedy driven by Ford" or "Best Female in a Leading Role with makeup by Revlon" would you take them seriously?
I never took the Oscars seriously before so maybe if they did add those categories I would watch...for a split second then go back to watching pr0n.
[sarcasm] That's right, becuase we all know that crappy poorly developed video games, annoying copyright protection & activation, non-innovative sequels and of course EA are so not a disgrace to video games. [/sarcasm]
You are supposed to leave them boxes on all of the time, like 99.999 % of the time.
Unfortunately not everyone has the extra funds to run their boxes 24/7 365 days a year. Electric bill would be to high. Not to mention if the boxes are in the same room where you sleep, the fan noise is unacceptable when trying to get some rest.
5 4 3 2 1...
Anyone else notice the ads running now? ThinkGeek is going all out in trying to fool the everyone. Will they spam my mail box next?

Can someone tell me how I can roll "IDDQD"? These scary imps have surrounded my marine and about to give him 666 scratches of death!
Why don't they make a sequel? There is no reason to go back and muck around with a film that doesn't need mucking around with.
