Why not visit NZ first? Im a native, but dont work in a technical proffession, I dont know if you could find the same kind of engineering jobs etc. A lot of NZ science etc probably revolves around animal agriculture (not GE though!). I wouldnt know, I'm vegan.

I never thought that seeing "thermal" maps might be affected. I had a friend who found green and red to be the same shade, we could never find a way to agree on what colours looked like. Im very into podcasts, and many different podcasts have "classic" episodes that I wish to keep forever. For example, No Agenda, I like keeping every episode, ever, of No Agenda. When Im waiting for the next episode to come out, I listen to one of the other 120 I have. I had a 30GB iPod, now I have a 120GB Classic. Im using about 40GB right now, but as time goes by, I might be adding 1GB (lets just say) of Podcasts per month. Thats substantial.
The larger the space, the better for me! I'll be really sad if the Classic does go away, at least until there are 128GB Touch's.

Heres a suggestion, go to your local animal shelter, or vet, see if they "put animals to sleep". If they do, cripes, you better make a huge deal out of it! Make banners to boycott their business!
Death sucks, but so do no kill shelters, where animals can basically just be kept alive in the worst conditions, until they naturally die. Personally, I couldnt handle working with animals in either condition, I have respect for people who can do everything they can to help animals live, and regretfully, put them out of their misery.

Im from New Zealand, where "fanny" means something different:) In Australia and NZ, "fanny" means basically the C word for a female body part. Hearing The Simpsons etc use it, its pretty odd! I'm a jailbroken iPhone user and couldnt imagine NOT having one, but I do hope Android does better, if only for more competition to keep Apple hard at work, monopolies always end up bad for the consumer.

Snow can affect lots of NZ, but we also have fairly cold temperatures in the South Island generally, and rain. Basically, a bike is not the best way to get around :)

I'm a jailbroken iPhone user and couldnt imagine NOT having one, but I do hope Android does better, if only for more competition to keep Apple hard at work, monopolies always end up bad for the consumer.
I'd say the iPhone were more like a Private Jet, sure it has massive fuel bills (AT&T lockin) and makes you look like a wannabe big shot, but its something to aspire to, even the hoi polloi can buy a used BMW for a few K.
I asked before, what were the initial iPhone problems? It seems to be some imaginary thing to bash the iPhone over "oh, I know its sexy as hell, and that everyone haves them, that apart from the iPod, its the device of the decade...but it had initial product failures so I'll stick to my clunky Windows Mobile piece of crap...".
Just would like to know, since I have an Original iPhone. I have never heard of them having mass faults, googling I didnt see anything that suggested that?
