    Percisely!

I've been dreaming of the "iPad", a little touch screen based device to control computers etc. I got the idea from using a clicker for a textbased game, it gets boring clicking numbers as they come up onscreen, so i thought "why not have this little device to do this kind of stuff with?". The way i imagine it, it would be about the thickness of an iPod Nano and about the same size as the current iPod, and just ALL touchscreen. It would have limited ram etc, and would just use its touchscreen, wifi and bluetooth to interface with other computers etc.

Imagine, the technician who monitors the servers through dashboard type widgets on the crapper, or being able to txt on your bluetooth phone by writing with the stylus which sends it to the phone, you could have your phone in your pocket and just have your iPad vibrate and have the message come up on it. I would really want this device to be cheap, say, $50 american for example. i know i would buy one if they cost the equiv of that. It would have to be cheap though, and simple, just the wifi/bt and the touchscreen to control everything.

I bet he would rather they said he was "from Japan". I know here in my country, in my city, the best sports players, and movie stars are taken by bigger provinces, or countries, and on the news, they say things such as "born in x" and "former x" as if to say we still have a claim to owning their talent.

By adding that little bit extra, all his family and all Japanese people full stop can feel proud.

Maybe you know this already, but from that description, you really just describe the Motorola V3 RAZR so well! Its small, internal aerial, easy to use, and 100m range bluetooth, it actually is metal, and its cheap! I wish someone could answer my problems this easily!

Glad to hear im not alone when it comes to finding the V3 as hard to make out, I wish that my volume was louder, perhaps some third party could add a better speaker? it might not be that hard to fix, and where theres a will theres a way remember! I dont find the antenna is bad, maybe its the coverage in your country? I agree sorta about the os and the camera is vga but thats to be expected of a 2004 phone.

I signed up for a new bank acount here in New Zealand, with "Kiwibank". I got the account just fine, I rush home to put in my temporary pin (only lasted 72 hours!) and find I couldnt change the pin. I did the new pin again and again, and typed the security letters that came up, and it just wouldnt work. I did it three times wrong, and got my account BLOCKED. I was so annoyed, I found the number and rang the helpdesk, to cut the long story short, it took over 2 hours to reset, and the guy still couldnt help. Turns out, the code for verifying and changing my pin just plain wouldnt work in Firefox! I launched IE and it "Just Worked". That is unless it was Bill Gates stealing my bank account details........

...Mate, ok, ill help you out a bit, im not trying to be an ass here ok. Time. To find other stores, try Google, and look for "Apple Brazil" etc, im sure they have ways to buy apart from just Apple. I hate this so much, most countries dont have an "Apple Store" as I think you might know, If i were to buy a mac it would be through the likes of Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman.

Again, I'm not getting at you, but its also "Whale Rider", yeah, I and every other New Zealander saw it, I had read the book before hand. Did you like the movie? We do have a lot of other things here in NZ apart from Lord of the Rings and Whale Rider (and Narnia too if you want to be a smart arse), try "Once Were Warriors", my god is that a great movie, most New Zealanders saw that too, its a classic New Zealand novel by one of our most famous authors, and the movie is great. check it out on imdb and then buy the dvd! Have a good saturday or whatever, Sunday afternoon here.

Hi, well, the problem is the other players still suck. Period. Ok, if you want a MUSIC PLAYER that can do full HD video on its 2 inch screen, but they just dont sell compared to the iPod. Pick any iPod, any one at all say the original 5GB, firewire, Mac Only, no Music Store iPod. Still sold more than your top of the line Zen and what have you.

While im on it, why do the other music players look like shit still? Dont they learn "sex sells"?
