    Firefox is a good browser, but does anyone know how to turn off those little pop-over messages, such as the "you don't have this plugin installed, click here to download it". I do not need flash or java, and I don't want the message.

    Also, is there a way to move the gold lock (for secure sites) from the address bar down to the status bar like before?

    Another thing that would be nice is if they returned the cool background graphic in the download manager.

    Other than that, the base browser is excellent.

    Or u-tack, or whatever that bubblegum-like fluid is called. The only LED I have to worry about is the green LED on my monitor.

    I don't know why manufacturers put them there. Why would I want an LED to distract me?

    Speaking of dodgy maths, before my School Certificate (an exam all high school students do in year 10 in Australia), we did some sample questions.

    One of the question had a point with multiple lines coming out of it. The question asked you to measure each angle and to write down the sum of the angles. (Hint: 360deg)

    What was the "official" answer according to the answer sheet published by the Board of Studies? They would have accepted angles between 355 and 365 degrees.

    No, it just reports your every move to Redmond, WA.... and any server that asks ;)

    This is part of the Trustworthy Computing initiative, in that young software developers around the world can "trust" IE to reply to certain "questions".

    Questions may include things like what is stored C:\My Documents, or did you delete everything in C drive.
