the fucking internet is the only place where these shitting teenagers can use cunting naughty words without their bitch parents hearing, (please, note the sarcasm)
the LOUDER and more frequently they say these words, the more adult-like they feel.
Does it severely irriate anyone else that Google is relentless in trying to nerf what is undoubtably the best feature in vista?
Sure, i used Google Desktop Search on XP, but what exactly is the big problem with me NOT having to download a bunch of junk just to search my files? Lets travel back in time and prevent MS from including web browsers, note pads, and painting programs too!
I speak for myself when I say I expect a complete product when i buy an OS, not some featureless chunk of harddrive.
Sorry if it has already been said, but this article sure has boiled my blood. It makes specific reference to final fantasy, a series i've long had a problem with in the naming department. The games are great, but Final Fantasy is 12 completely different games, all with the same name. When i buy a zelda game, i expect a zelda game. Not some completely irrelivant game with a similar name.
So would someone please tell my why they are encouraging this kind of behaviour?
I was looking through the comments just waiting for someone to mention S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because the AI is indeed AMAZING for a first person shooter. I really can't think of anything better, it flanks, it uses cover properly, they switch to close quarters weapons when you get near them, unfortunately they kind of cheat by having infinite ammo, and they still have the "we know you killed one of our faction via telepathy and now we all hate you" thing
I can totally dig that, but I also think they do things like this to show that just because you're 10 doesn't mean you're above the law, just because your disabled you're not above the law, just because you're an elderly person you're not above the law, etc, etc. I can understand when they accidentally get the people who don't even own computers, but under no other cirumstance do I think a big deal should be made about the RIAA cases.
In any case I'll probably get -1'd just for saying "don't do the crime if you can't do the time." Don't illegally download music without understanding the risks of doing something illegally.
exactly, i mean, not to sound like flamebait, but you think people would have moved on to Opera by now, but yet it still remains LARGELY ignored (how often do you hear about opera vunerabilities?)
I am sorry, but I have to clear up this total misunderstanding. The PSP battery is really not as bad as people make it out to be. The only time it takes a real hit is when you're watching UMDs or playing a game for 6 hours straight, even online. The reason it gets such a bad rep for battery is because, yeah, it still is about half of the DS battery life, but it is by no means a short battery life, who the heck plays a handheld for 6 hours in one sitting?
maybe its because elite has been updated to elite iii, command and conquer to C&C3, Doom, to Doom3,
I'm awfully sick of the nostalgia that seems to be running rampant nowadays.

but the real problem is that Opera wasn't mentioned at all, cause ohmygod people might actually be using a superior browser that isn't open source!
we called a legal threat a "nastygram"- they're sure to take us serious now!
"The average user cattle doesn't care about the data format war,"
ahh, there's the techno-elitist attitude these comments have been missing!
And of course it's a "we're right you're wrong, we know what's best for the world" statement too!
And whot he hell is this Weir guy to reccomend anything?
I shall link to my roomates nearly complete entry: here.
I mean, sure it's not national TV quality, but I'd take it over a local ad anyday
semantics se-shmantics, IP theft is still theft, satisfied?
you don't get sued if you don't steal music. (cue the guy who'll link to one of the GRANDMA WITHOUT COMPUTER SUED articles)
Does anyone have any idea what would happen if Soviet Russia were to cancel a television show?
was SaveNetRadio the voice of small internet radio stations worldwide?

From the Slashdot FAQ: "Note that being moderated Funny doesn't help your karma"
credit cards that couldn't be used to.. you know.. BUY music?

I don't use OS X, so this question isn't as rhetorical as it might seem: Does Apple usually give credit to bugs found?
didn't firefox have a security vunerabilty found every day last month?

I think you're forgetting that Harmonix also developed Frequency and Amplitude, two games that laid the foundation for guitar hero in a major way.
bad analogy. That's like saying you're stealing television if you watch an advertisement but don't buy the product.

making something Open Source does not make it free- look at quake 1, 2, and 3. Source Code freely downloadable, but not the game content.
sorry, I lost all of my mod points or you'd definately get them. It makes me terribly flustered when I see make-believe words on NEWS sites.
I have a dog with no nose!
-How does it smell?
Terrible!
