Then, even if we believe, it doesn't matter. Most people could care less what happens tomorrow, let alone years from now. We are an instant gratification society with no consequences.
I can agree with the slightly increased power useage, but there are arguments that would state that this would prolong the life of the processor. It is harder on a processor to heat up, cool down, heat up, cool down, that to run at a steady temperature. (Assuming the cooling was good enough to make this a safe steady temperature.) Silicon can handle the heat, so being at steady state is less stressing to the chip.
Netpliance agreed to pay a civil penalty of $100,000 and reimburse some customers who had been charged Internet access fees before they used the service.
Yet...
Netpliance did not admit guilt
Here is all the money we took, and an amount to show that we won't do it again, but we really did do anything? Gotta love it.
Roxio also makes GoBack, the #1 selling system recovery software that enables PC users to ``go back'' in time to instantly recover from system crashes, virus attacks, failed software installations and data loss.
To think how far we have come. In '85 we needed a Delorian and a velocity >= 88 mph... Oh, and some plutonium (or anything to get 1.21 GW).
I have noticed the same thing and confirm it by maintaining a constant speed over a fixed number of miles, get a time for the distance, and comparing speeds to the speed = distance/time. The GPS is usually very close to the calculated speed. Much closer than the car's speedometer.
And, Yes... I have had to drive many miles in a car without any sort of audio entertainment.:)
John Cleese made many industrial training films as well.
As well as one about business ethics that was hilarious. They showed it in one of our Engineering Business classes. Gets the points across but with great humor.
...is that the computer programming boom has fallen somewhat, so those who have only heard of HTML can no longer get work, so less people are doing less work at the computer causing less RSI?
I'd say that any country which targets civilians for no good reason deserves to have its own civilians attacked.
I would disagree. Although, I believe that any country who targets civilians has no right to complain when it's government heads are obliterated. The whole reason Saddam is still around, is that our allies are more scared of Iran taking control over a leaderless Iraq and becoming a larger threat against Saudi and Israel.
All the Military needs to do is pass legislation that makes it illegal to detect stealthy aircraft. SAD (Stealthy Anti-Detection) Act. If it works for the MPAA, why not for defense?
Oh, wait. Armies don't fight with lawyers, they have bullets. That might not work...
Hopefully it isn't used to tap locations for shoot. Then we have reduced first person shooters to "Whack a Mole".
It already is working. Didn't you see The Saint? It can explode light bulbs and send cool light effects into the sky!
Well, I believe it also works when the water is colder than the air also.
:)
If the water was colder than the air, then the curtain would blow instead of suck, right?
Don't you guys perceive a distinction between Fred and Wilma and Ross and Rachel?
Were not stupid, Ross and Rachel wear shoes. Duh!

Maybe we'll get a SeaLand-like spam haven with its own domain? Is .sh, "SpamHaven", already taken?
:)
That would be great. If I could just filter all mail originating from an ".sh" domain, all my problems would be solved...

Obviously you have never seen the Fox special:
When Penguins Attack
I'll tell you, it scared me silly. I'm getting goose bumps again just by thinking about it...

Meesah thinks I will rent it. I'm not interested in purchasing all of the itterated versions of Star ars that Lucas always tries to sell...

That just gave me shivers... :( Scarry.
I must be the last person in the US who found that you can live with only broadcast TV. If nothing is on, go ride a bike.
I also find the resolution, 1365x768 as mentioned everywhere, a bit odd...
;)
It's not a problem, just make sure you purchase the letterbox versions of your applications...
Sheesh, I hate stereotypes.
:)
Stereotypes are the basis of a lot of humor. Phonetic spellings are welcome. I would never survive without spell checkers!
Feel free to lay those America sterotypes on me. I usually just get a chuckle out of them.

Eeh? (Thrown in for the Canadians.)

Great. Now when they are about to burn out, all we will get is Nine Inch Nails... err, I mean static.
You could atleast make it a link!
Thanks for the link, I just joined.
I don't believe that there would be any grounds to include the MPAA in this suit, unless that had any inclusion in the audio encription technologies.
