"Today in the news, a new school in West Philly has burnt to the ground without warning due to a flaw in the new high-tech fire alarm system that apparently blue screened before it could sound the alarms."
I foresee future Microsoft employees being raised. *sigh*... those poor kids. They'll never know what it's like to use a technology that actually works. Well, another one bites the dust I guess.
Apple is doing something similar with the iTunes Music Store Billion Song Countdown, and I don't think they giving away prizes to try and lure users away from Napster.
A combination of many things, including and not limited to Windows' insecurity and poor programming are reasons why there are more viruses and malware for Windows.. not because of the processor architecture.
Google is offering a desirable service by networking pc's, are they not? Similar services cost $30 a month
This is true, I am not suggesting that it would be a bad thing, as it wouldn't bother me one bit. However, since it involves personal data, others will definitely be concerned with privacy.
From another standpoint, if someone was worried about Google storing their personal data on the servers, then just don't 'share' or 'network' such data that is so private.
Does this give Google the right to search the data for advertising purposes? Google desktop could easily have small text-bases ads relevant to data in my MyDocuments folder.
... how much will these new tags cost to produce? I can think of a million different ways to implement them into our every day lives, but if it's an expensive technology, we may not see it in use for a while.
welcome our new sweaty sysadmins.
or a Pit Bull (or a Rottweiler, or a German Shepherd, or a Doberman).

My computer IS my SO?
