    IIRC they had to fly up and correct the lens with some contraption because someone/someteam had screwed up the numbers when building it. Isn't that so?

    IIRC the mirror was ground with gravity present. Then under zero G conditions it sprung back to an unanticipated shape.

    ...in the 70's, just about every other song contained notably many and various permutations and combinations of the words "baby", "yeah" and "orright". It was a really lame formula and unfortunately it seemed to work.

    At the present time at least, anything more than about 20 bits is lost in the noise so what's all this 32 bits of analog resolution of audio stuff? Just big numbers for advertising if you ask me.

    On a related subject, I've often wondered if the inside surface of the anode of a vacuum tube could have a reflective coating to direct radiated IR back to the cathode and so reduce the power needed to maintain it's temperature. Somewhat late with this idea of course.

    Android has always been the superior technology. Why else do you think it has more global market share than Apple could ever dream about?

    Superior technology = market share? That must explain why 90% of people use MS windows and 2% use Linux. Of course.

    One complaint that I've heard of from people who claim to smoke weed is that it can severely shrink one's gonads. I've overheard people at the mall and on the bus talking about how their testes and scrotum shrunk significantly after repeated use of marijuana, for example. I've read the same claim online, too, and I think I even heard a caller to a radio show mention it once.

    I'm a competitive swimmer. Does marijuana use affect the size of a man's testes and scrotum?

    Smoke weed + swim in cold water = devastating combination :-P
