Very clever, by comp sci intellectual standards, anyway. Of course one couldn't imagine any value from discussing anything with the comp sci intellectuals on slashdot.
as a diehard gamer, i don't read any of that shite.. face it PA sucks.. out of a month's worth of comics they have maybe one or two borderline funny. PA is like the HBO of comics, cheaply put together trying to exploit the novelty of cursing every other word.. except guess what, it's not a novelty, fucktards.
The article you link isn't very informative for determining whether or not your claim is true. In the unsourced reference to claims of 156-500 is included members of secret police who are quite likely not political prisoners. Do you have a better source, perhaps along with an actual comparison to those he opposed?
what the fuck does that mean? this strange and new concept of "someone smarter than me" must be one of those undocumented ideas that hasn't reached the public domain (of at least slashdot).
this may really take off if slashdot ups its quota on posting this story from once a year to twice a year. i for one will be keeping an eye out for it again in november.
some websites are finding bittorrent doesn't help them justify charging people for stuff - 3dgamers.com has just started subscriptions for downloading from their 'fast' FTP servers, and presumably to make them more attractive, they are not offering bittorrent downloads for game demos.
I'm going to patent 'the massacre of patent lawyers after coming off a carnage high from playing an FPS'.
And after that I'm going to make a game where the objective is to slaughter as many patent lawyers ass possible, then patent it.
if the dumb fucks don't read their own site, they care even less to read the comments and therefore don't give a shit enough about the readers of the site to be embarrassed by anything they say.
slashdot's been coasting for the last few years.. it was never all that great, just better than most out there. it's produced by people who have no clue as to what diligence means and no concept of trying to be the best at what you do. maybe that's why so many IT/"coding" drones like it so much.
Nice tag. It's so much easier when you can describe (read: blame) your politic as a negative reaction to what someone did. Inspiration is overrated.
Oh, by the way, the South lost the Civil War.
If the cutting edge is less features than IM had 5 years ago, it's pretty damn edgy.

Why must you destructo-mega-eviscerate people who simply like to use the word 'blast'?

If there's precious metals or gems in the asteroid, there might actually be something to sue for!
