are you really sure that you want to look down at your keyboard when busy playing online game against other players? I'd rather read those game information on my monitor.
my dell poweredge 400sc is very quiet, the only noisy components in my dimenion 4550 and 4600 are the 6600gt and radeon 9600 pro video cards. I dont mean the box is silent, it has CPU fan and case fan, but with my fish tank bubble maker sound, my frig noise and my central AC noise, I cant hear anything from those CPU/case fans.
actually i think they are missing a huge point, the user based for windows and linux are very very different, thus it makes a huge difference about how often and how severe they would encounter and complain about the problem.
japan's wealth today mostly relies on the resource it grabbed during WWII from those countries it occupied, japanese governors and their senate members constantly go to their evil temple. japan is not allowed to have an army but their military spending tops in the world. there's not enough space to let me list what evil things they are doing NOW!
they are doing evil things, the world, be aware.
all intents and purposes? does that including gaming? I think people cares a lot about perfromance just for gaming, they spend thousands of dollars just to be a little bit faster than others to get the edge.
only morons will think they have any intelligence. well, when morons call some one idiots, due to their lack of brain, their judgement means nothing, oh, wait, maybe it means a lot to another moron like you, mr, anonymous coward.
" illegal bundling arrangements and abuse of monopoly power "
just like apple bundles the mac os with its own hardware with monopoly so nobody else is making it and the price of slow mac machines are incredibly high?
as being an evil, apple is just an unsuccessful evil, but it's as evil as M$
how's this a catch-up move since AMD/Intel announces this before SONY-IBM, also it's multi-core on single chip, instead of grouping of cheap core on different cores (as my understanding for the 'cell' processing). at the same time, intel/AMD demonstrated prototype before SONY-IBM did.
this entire thread shows that how many americans dont respect other nation, dont respect their people, dont respect other nation's rights, etc.
I know "respect others" is against bushism. you know.
in history, as far as I know, none of the "democratic" leader american supported every worked. like jiang jieshi, who fled to taiwan basically because he sucked so bad, even US congress realized that and some congress man proposed to stop supporting him for that.
look at what US supported in iran, iraq, afganistan, vietnam, korea, china before. it only makes more enemy for the united states in the end.
the only people who benefit from it are dirty polititian and big corporates.
well, things have changed a lot for recent years, those came back with good US degree used to be very "hot" back in mother-land, now it's just so so. I am not saying it's a bad thing, just now there have been so many of them returning homeland, the fairy tale of how "good" those people are have been broken.
now it's more about your experience, major... many many things. the major advantage is that those returning from USA might have better english skill, but it does vary a lot by person.
the huge amount of asian people in UWM engineering school also vary.
those hmong/laotian are probably refugee from cities like minneapolis, they are US citizens, so they dont have a place to "return". those indian or chinese people probably wont return, but return ratio for them have increased in recent years due to the poor economy.
How much does RH ask for the support price?
How is it comparing to SUN/Microsoft?
btw, I believe in good IDE, which helps my development work. it seems that there are good IDEs on other platform but many of them still favor the good old faithful 'vi'.
this is the key issue, I think. life is just too easy in the states.
in taiwan-china, hongkong-china, mainland-china, japan, korea, most people need college degree to get a decent job, when competition gets worse, you even needs a top univesity degree to get a good job!
here back in UIowa, ranking 60% in SAT will make sure you can enter college by state law, as long as you can afford the tuition, and there are so many jobs for people so they can even work at walmart or gas station to make a living.
I am a little confused about this. if I improved some GPL software and sell it for profit, as long as I provide the source code, do I need to any money for the original authors?
btw, if anybody who buys the software just releases it publicly for free with source code, is that legal?
those articles are simply from irresponsible reporters, there are too many similar ones say they are better than this or that, without basic knowledge of what it is.
there have been many "search engine" in china, I just dont think any of them really work that well.

why is this worth slashdot? geeks.com has something like this onsale for $149.99 for very long time already.
I saw similar product a few years ago on magazines, it was $299.99 or so at the time. SONY has a headmount display product as well.
I am working on an iTune RSS 2.0 feed, which has its own set of tags make it not 100% compatible with generic rss reader.
,IMHO.
with 2% of new computer shipment for apple, how many people really care about what safari can do?
I use rss reader and I found many good rss readers are written in c#, firefox is not a good rss reader
I am using rssreader 1.0.88.0 now, it can search, not perfect search, but pretty good.

agree, by "nature", human created all those new techonologies,
the world is "nature" what ever we do, right?

just found 3 fucking retarded mac fans, who thought they are the only smart ass in the whole world. that's the pathetic thing about those mac fans.
" illegal bundling arrangements and abuse of monopoly power " just like apple bundles the mac os with its own hardware with monopoly so nobody else is making it and the price of slow mac machines are incredibly high? as being an evil, apple is just an unsuccessful evil, but it's as evil as M$
as claimed by anonymous crowd...

shouldnot games/software be like patents? so that after a certain among of years, it should be FREE for everybody?
otherwise the monopoly can hurt people and even stop innovation because some old useful code has been locked by those big evil guys.

can those poor people afford the >$20/month telephone bill and at least $9.95 plus tax dial up bill?
other options to get online seem to be more expensive, as far as I know.
maybe this could be put in those bars/coffee shops for general public to get online, do a little surfing.

what do you mean?
chinese people own most of those companies, some of them are partially owned by foreingers.
one of the biggest thing I heard about this deal is that the new CEO of lenovo was IBM vice president.
this is a big and risky move for lenovo to enter US market, also they will carry IBM logo for 5 years.
I dont worry about quality, but I do worry about lenovo management, while DELL has 4 day of avg warehousing, they still have 22.7 days.

well, I think it's quite clear that china is in the brutal starting phase of capitalism now.
maybe it's only clear to most chinese people.
thanks for the reply, so how I can make profit from GPL software if customer can release it for free?

$250 is higher than many larger HD based players from other vendors.
256M flash based player can be obtained at $50 or so.
brand name, look of the product all play a big role for the price.
