I agree, I thought I'd get a little opinion on the device itself, and ended up seeing the only opinion given was that gee, not many people use PIII processors anymore.
We're going to have to agree to disagree here. Between AllofMP3.com and Creatives recent software updates, I like my 40GB Creative Zen Xtra very much. It's served me well for the last year and I havn't had any serious differences between it and my 4th Gen 20GB iPod and iTunes.
This means only one thing: that hackers have to dedicate their time at manually hacking a linux server, while for a Windows machine a quick 5-minute script will do the entire job for them.
Places like Stealth Surfer ( http://stealthsurfer.biz/anonymous_email.html ) offer off-shore anonymous and encrypted email addresses, free of cost. Usage of free and public computers, such as public librarys and even Wifi hotspots, can help cover tracks. But sometimes it all depends on how determined someone is to invade your network.
The most secure computer is one not connected to the internet - that's why I recommend AOL Dialup! You'll never be exposed to the internet again!
Well then, forget this silly AMD64 system with this waste of 1M L2 Cache! I'm digging out my Pentium 133 system out of the basement!
Just because someone can drag themselves through a decathalon with a broken leg doesn't mean they're going to be fast, effective or ejoy doing so. I don't see Pentium scaling back their development teams because Win2k was a smooth OS that brought life to the unwieldly Win95-capable hardware.
It's difficult to say. On one hand, you risk taking a specialist and by asking them to diversify, you may be rendering them unable to continue to advance their area of specialty, and on the other hand, you may suddenly have an admin that's versed in more than one environment.
As with anything it's a tradeoff. But if I were you, I'd ask for a raise upon certification. Or make them pay for the crashcourse camp for certification. =D
Yeah, I guess a couple of floppies would be Doom. Wolfenstein is what I was thinking of, there we go. Sorry, my memory on the games I played when I was 6 is bad. ^_^
Unless that "water" is Saphire. Then it's not wet at all! In fact, you could cool your entire computer system submerged in it, and short nothing. How cool is that?
Those two commentaries are informative and are interesting. I find Rick Ross's more to what I would say myself about the topic. What -did- we fight so hard for?
I just KNOW there's going to be a hack out for it soon, that will enable to user to reverse the process and skip to just the naughty bits and swear words. =)
That aside, it was a neat looking 1U case though.
Let's name it "Internet 2!"

Somewhere, in the depths of Apple Headquarters, Steve Jobs busts out the champagne.
It's been said before that parents don't care what kind of games their kids play but rather how much time they're spending playing them.
(I was going for a joke on the sly about the already-identified Wikipedia/Wiki misinformation. Ah well, next time Spiderman, next time...)
For: Everyone else too lazy to look it up =)
bigwavejas: Fuck you, I'm using BOLD numbers! muhahaha
In all fairness, the previous posting of this had NOTHING about Wikipedia in it. Perhaps that was the intended news to spread?
The BTOD? Black Toast of Death?

Wait wait wait, WHAT? IE is not secure?!? MY DATA!

We already know the answer to the ONE question... What we REALLY need to do is build a machine to figure out what that question is - who's with me?!

I believe the link should've been this.
Did you mean: Martha Stewart? http://www.knightthrasher.com/images/didyoumean.gi f
Why watch TV? *fires up CoH Beta*

Suddenly, I'm taken back to the days of Doom, where I can fit a FPS onto a floppy disk. Sweet.

... and then the state responds with fines, for invasion of privacy, and the frivilous lawsuit is dismissed. If the world were fair.

It's true, that the things you own end up owning you. Financially an influence, as well as influences over the things you know and learn.
