    yes 256 MB is small but this drive is in market since 2007.......and its not a falsh cache. The data stays there and visa uses it for fast boot up.

    which utilizes both SSD and a mechanical disk to get the best of both worlds in a way similar to processor caches L3 >> L2 >> L1. Ofcourse, current drives already use buffering but the buffer data gets lost when the drive is switched off.

    bacause most developers do it because of their personal interest. Getting paid is not bad but it means you *generally* loose control over the project sooner or later and project becomes a toy of the company which is paying the developers. Ofocurse, might be proved wrong.

    will be counted most probably. I dont know of many linux users who download directly from mozilla website. Most would use a package from their distribution which generally is not available on the same day (and even if it is, how will they count those downloads).

    The site says that you can also get mp3 (yes, mp3) for presumably a higher price. So, this is more of a rental model, listen to the *locked* version for a dime or own the song for a higher price.

    It says that you can buy mp3s for ipods which may be interpreted that you can get a mp3 for (most probably) a higher price.

    its the simplest and lightest windowmanager that I have seen. Ofcourse, tthere are probably other options. Generally, the packages are available for most distros but I would advise you to use gentoo since you can make it as lightweight as you want depending on your requirements, but gentoo requires you to know a thing or two already about linux.
