    Here in North Florida Grumman has increased the plane cleaning build size by 400%. You could park an E2 in it before,what are they planning to do in that new building with those employees they are hiring.

    There are many other animals (you consider man is also an animal, right?) that are capable of intercontinental migration. We just toted cats with us so they are here (in North America) via natural processes.

    Big Government has morphed into little government and The State. The government is supposed to do the peoples' business. The State has it's own agenda and factions within the State use legitimate government functions to further their aims. And some are just megalomaniacs. Come the revolution I'm going to be on the front lines. Life's going to be hell when the money stops. I'm old and tired, I wont last long without my modern conveniences anyway.

    If creationist (like me) would just teach that what is scientifically provable is part of that ever learning but getting farther from the truth that man does. No were in my bible does it say I am supposed to change your mind. It's Caesars school, let them teach what they want. I would like to know if anyone has found proof of present day evolution? Bacteria don't evolve resistance to antibiotics, a few resistant ones are just able to fill the niche left empty by the non resistant ones. Someone should be studying theoretical genetics to improve human health and lives but even non Christians blanch at "evolving" the human genome. Why? we are just extra smart animals, right?

    In order to create new wealth so that some of that wealth can be confiscated to pay for common government activities, all nations should return to basic economic principles and realize/understand that privately held national wealth and non-government jobs are only made, created, and/or acquired when the members of a family or the citizen businessmen of a nation, state, city, island, tribe, school district, hospital district, etc., performs one or more of the following tasks: 1. plant, grow and/or harvest something of commercial value from the earth; 2. extract something of commercial value from the earth; 3. manufacture something of commercial value that is consumable 4. construct a building that is permanently useful for rental income; 5. provide services (Professional Licensed services such as Doctors, Lawyers, Architects, Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Certified Public Accountants, etc., and also licensed tradesmen such as plumbers, electricians, auto mechanics, Aircraft (& Power plant) mechanics, HVAC mechanics, barbers, and other licensed trades); 6. collect payment for patent and copyright uses; 7. Buy things from foreigners in foreign nations, transport them to another other foreign nation, and then sell them to that other foreign nation at a profit; And then if they trade, sell, lease, or rent these items and/or services to parties outside of their family, in return for a net transfer of gold, currency or commodities from other parties outside of their family into their own family, that family (state or nation) is enriched and accumulates wealth

    Then you get a young man beaten unconscious in a stairwell serving the same 5 day suspension as his attackers. Then after successfully defending himself a second time being ask to leave the school because he was a disruptive influence! The thugs could roam the halls freely. Very few student would need to be placed in the "motivation" school, to use a Marine term. Those who need to be are stealing the others chance for an education. I had technical school in the Navy. Those foolish enough to disrupt the class found themselves on a bus back to the fleet to spend the rest of their hitch swabbing decks.

    The productive need diversions. I was a farmer then a mechanic on packing equipment helping keep people fed. I love a football game on Saturday afternoon. Just don't don't think buying all you goodies from China and then going to each others concerts is going to keep the economy going. Posted using Win XP.

    You say "give" a helping hand but that financial help has to be taken from someone else. And JK Rowling (like all entertainers) created zero wealth. Movie stars, basketball players, rappers do not create wealth. They accumulate wealth someone else created. Bill Gates created wealth by making people more productive. Farmers, miners, auto workers, these kind of activities create wealth.

    Ever watch a sprint car race, or speedway motorcycle race? Dirt is different, powering through a turn with the front wheel(s) in opposite lock is great fun, and the fastest way.

    Apparently the website is working for some. Yes, it is slow, and editing a segment puts you back through the slow process again. I signed up for a plan an hour ago. It must get some records from the IRS. It knew my wife's last place of employment from a year ago. $19.50 a month for a silver plan with $1000 deductible. I'm on disability with limited income, YMMV.

    Have you worked with Black persons who have sons in prison? I have. Drugs, gambling. My (white) cousins 28 year old son is in prison. Drug possession and failure to appear in court. No poverty, no desperation, just marijuana. Stupid drug laws, these guys weren't hurting anyone.

    One young man is in and out of jail for not paying child support and one co-worker did time for shooting his father, never throw a snake on a black man, even if he is your son.

    Most people will create an account at HOME. I will keep my written down username and password in the same non-secure filing cabinet I keep my tax and banking records. Actually I was keeping them on the back of an old envelope while I tried to get the site to work and wife tossed it in the trash while I went to the bathroom. Jokes on her, I used her name and our cats name as passwords. No one will ever think of that.

    For some reason the packages you take out of a plastic shopping bag wont fit back in after you open them and they are not liquid tight. I buy 13 gal drawstring bags for my kitchen trash can. Every day I take the full one out and put it into one of my 33 gal garbage cans. This is for five adults. Trying to stuff garbage back into those little bags is a messy nightmare.

    Looking out my back door I can see about 100 ft then its all forest with 80 ft high pine trees. 40 years ago the whole property was clear cut. The damn things grew back.

    Four children, oldest is 40, youngest is 22 and still in college, the other three college graduates. Over the last 40 years I averaged about $30000 a year. I own my own home and everyone had a car at 16. Living on a farm had some advantages.

    Living in a city will cost that much today. Fortunately for my youngest son (and me) his older brother is a lawyer and supports him now. While the older brother drives a (used) BMW the younger one still drives the three thousand dollar Pontiac I bought him when he turned 16.

    I worked like a dog on a farm for 25 years, my normal weight was 212 lbs. I have been retired for four years, weight, still 212 lbs. I still eat the same foods, just less of it.

    Stopping climate change will make most people poorer. Some will get richer (Solyndra). At some point when global warming becomes undeniable those who are going to lose money by changing will spend the most to keep things the way they are. With most people easily swayed by campaign spending, and most people greatly inconvenienced by going green, fossil fuel burning will continue for many years to come.

    Actually, domesticating cattle was worse. They turn coarse vegetation we can't eat into meat and motive power. The horse collar increased food production even more. Of course, the internal combustion engine was the worst thing ever developed.

    Sometimes it does not pay to over promise and under deliver. I was on a 1940s era steam powered Navy destroyer in port making repairs. Another Machinist mate and I were tasked with replacing a critical pump for our distillation system. Our engineering officer promised the captain the unit would be functional by noon the next day. Steamships can't run without a freshwater supply. We two worked all night scrounging up a pump from the repair depot and installing it. We hit the rack the next morning while the electricians wired the pump. Six hours later I get up and notice we are pulling back into port. The pump was defective and the ship was not allowed to stay at sea without a freshwater supply. Let's say the captain was not happy. We got shore leave :). No idea what that poor lieutenant got.
