Actually, it's pretty funny you bring that up, as there's a Ghost In The Shell episode in which this very sort of situation occurs.

A man with cybernetic limbs shoots and kills a woman. During the court trials, his defense lawyer (highly experienced with defending people with cybernetic prosthetics) says that the defendant wasn't used to his newly upgraded/installed cybernetic body parts (and the new control software for them) and thus fired the gun unintentionally.

When I saw this episode, it was a bit of a shock to consider those kinds of situations where the natural self-control we take for granted could potentially no longer be in place, if we were to start to rely on technology to take the place of our physical bodies...

Yes, I have been saying this for years - it seems that the third game in the series always seems to be "how the original should have been to begin with". Case in point, Marathon Infinity, also by Bungie Software. Another example would be BioShock actually, being a supposed spiritual successor to System Shock 2 and probably the closest we'll ever get to a "System Shock 3". Or take a look at Myst. First there was the original, then Riven, then Myst 3 which finally featured a moveable viewpoint and other features that really made the game feel more full and immersive.

Pretty sure no one appreciates being subjected to "feminine wiles", in general.

This reminds me of "good looking" women getting unpopular/desperate guys to do their homework, fix their computer, etc. IMO it's pretty deceptive and/or sneaky. I wonder if Ontario residents get screwed as badly as us over in BC. I'm guesing the MSRP on cars is country-wide, here. Pretty damned amazing. Can you imagine paying 30% more for a vehicle built 15 minutes from your own home, compared to what people in a seperate country pay? Jeez..

You think that's bad? It's the exact same thing with cars, too. When you're looking at buying a $49k car (Subaru WRX STI) and you see it's only $33k in USA, well, that's just pure bullshit. I have yet to read ANY reasonable explanation for this extreme disparity.

I've been looking at buying a car for months (hoping the price would drop on 2008 models but no they are exactly the same) and I WAS going to just buy it in USA and import it to Canada and save myself $5000+, but Honda has just emailed all their US dealership managers stating that if a buyer does this, the warranty is VOID for the vehicle in both US and Canada - your car won't be serviced under warranty even if you drive back down to the US to get it serviced. Obviously they are trying to protect their fucked up excessively-disparate market. Frankly, I don't even want to buy a car at all, now - I'll be paying 30% more than people a mere 20 minute drive from me will be paying for the SAME FUCKING VEHICLE.

On a more fortunate note, Toyota has stated rather loudly that they WILL honor the warranty of a vehicle purchased in the US and imported into Canada. So, obviously I am considering them at this time. Of course that still doesn't make me feel any better about the fucked up price disparity.

Just because they're an "officer of the law" doesn't mean they are ABOVE the law and can just manhandle whoever they want without just cause and/or explanation.
