    No offense intended, but i am amazed at something sounding really profound to me in a scientific way actually more resembles the average political speach. I beleive to fully understand what you meant, and wonder if my "plain english" interpretation be a correct translation by your standards;

    "Comparing the whole situation on moment A, would work. It would also work on any moment B. When one wants to compare the comparisons of moments A and B, it gets more complicated."

    Well that sounds pretty straight forward, if not stupid. Its like saying "Slicing a bread on more than one unique axis is more difficult."

    Chances of winning change dynamicly in your favor as soon as Monty "disables" one losing option.
    Conclusion: changing doors does not improves your odds. The odd have already changed in your favor.

    In more detail:
    At the beginning chances of winning equal 33%
    Monty reveales a goat behind one door, and chances of winning become 50%.

    You don't have to "re-choose" a door so the chances apply. In my view the chances already are 50%-50% at the start, since Monty always throws away one losing option.

    Either there is a reason the reviews of this case in statistics doesn't include my reasoning, or i need a lesson why my view on all this is wrong.

    When i am crossing the USA border with encryption that is not crackable with ease - like keys over 1kb long - the enforcers (beleive to) have enough reason to put me in jail, either to annoy, prosecute or study me. And besides that: rumor has it that even when one uses or develops heavy encryption outside North-America soil, they might want to jail that person when it visits the states later on.

    Futurama (in wich i firmly beleive) tells us that scientists decided to increased the speed of light in 2208, thereby allowing ships to travel "faster than light."

    (thought hoop)

    If time seases to exist, distance is infinite.
