NO CHANCE, security consultant companies are HIGHLY competative. You'll need security certifications or adult jail time for computer crimes to get any work at all.

"ok, let me come to your house, stuff hundreds of flyers a day at your front door, then say it's an unconstitutional infringement on free speech if i get stopped." UHUH... that a bull-fucking-shit analogy, a spammer isn't going to send 100's of emails to each person. Making spam a criminal offence is just dumb, hell I support it as it helps me out, but its still FUCKIN DUMB. You wanna compare what violent crimes you can commit and get less then 9 years?

Inject spaces or numbers or punctuation into the word if you do... thats called a lame permutation. I'm sure a clustered cracking job would use a large number of permuations on every word. A secure password for 128 bit encryption is 128 letters numbers and symbols, not written down anywhere. You probably can't remember that, so memorize and entire song, OF A GENRE THAT YOU WOULD NEVER NORMALLY LISTEN TO, and use the first letter of every word. Overkill? absolutly my four letter pass asdf works fine.

Spam is not an economic problem, its an annoyance. An annoyance Joe User doesn't care as much about as you think. Some people end up on a couple hundred mailing lists and end up with tons of spam and those people might be willing to pay for email if they knew it would stop spam, but the average user DOES NOT CARE a couple emails a day that they have to click the delete button for. Joe User is not going to pay for email because you signed up for too much free porn (thats pr0n in your language).
