This is why I ordered a "sim free" t630 from the UK. I use it here in the US with any gsm carrier I want. They inevitably force me to accept some "free" phone that I promptly donate to whoever wants/need it.
If the problem truly lies in the USB standard, wouldn't other operating systems that implement USB also be affected? "multi latform exploit"... kinda makes you just wanna drop your other projects and get to coding that proof of concept doesn't it?
450 million years ago (end of the Ordovician, first third of the Paleozoic) CO2 levels were nearly 4500 PPM. An order of magnitude higher than today. This coincided with an ice age. In fact, as far as I can see, there seems to be no corelation of CO2 levels to global temperature whatsoever. I'm not saying the Earth isn't getting hotter (I don't think we have enough historical data to make that statement) not am I saying that if it is warmer humans aren't somehow responsible. What I am saying is that CO2 apparently has nothing to do with global temperatures.

Don't let the name fool you. The guy that runs it is a skeptic, but apparently a level-headed logical one. (something that, I hope, can be said of me)
Man, did any of you guys actually read through all that? It was like listening to an hour of Allen Greenspan talking. My eyes sort of glassed over after about the first three laws.
Perhaps I missed the news of breaking even having become easy (or happening at all).
My understanding is that the closest anyone has come(at least as of last year) was a ratio of fusion power to input power of.7 (hardly breaking even) held by the Joint European Torus. Since it has been dormant for over a year and it is the largest fusion reactor, just who is breaking even easily with fusion?
you are correct. this is old news (if news at all) the hand geometry isn't even stored, it is linked to the ticket til the ticket expires so another individual would have dificulty using you pass to enter. I seem to remember this being around quite a long time ago, and behold! no black helicopters with mickey on the side! no Donald Duck Tin Foil Hats!
really people, you have more to worry from the video camera in your office!
HAHAHA
"I'm Mister Green Christmas, I'm Mister Sun
I'm Mister Heat Blister, I'm Mister Hundred and One
They call me Heat Miser, What ever I touch Starts to melt in my clutch, I'm too much!"
Man, I used to love watching that show every year!
HAHA...I work weekend nights...I am sitting here looking at a netbotz console right now!
They are pretty versatile. I like it a whole lot better than relying in Leiberts.
I've worked in market data systems for years. I can see how someone unfamiliar could flub an order.
Inexperienced staff are typically be put on a rather short leash (ie. system madated spending limits and such). It would be a shame if she were the only person to lose her job over this. There are (or should be) a host of people responsible for making sure this sort of thing doesn't happen. Seems some of them should be sacked as well!
wouldn't it be customary to watermark a map with the source agency or owner? I imagine it costs quite a bit to license satelite imagery such that you can call it your own. Still, it is kinda neat. I guess. Other sites have had this sort of thing for years.
Power budget? Surely the bright side of the moon could be populated with a significant number of solar panels? endless energy except for the occassional eclipse!
it's HUGE. (comparatively)
You would think without all the fluff, they could make it a little cleaner and smaller. I haven't upgraded from my Moto V66 yet 'cause I can't seem to find a new phone in a similar size. No, it isn't great or feature rich, but it's small and it rings.
I have seen several "carputers" use a solid state, large capacity (2-4 gig) cf card as the system drive. adapters to attach those to a standard ide connector are cheap (20 bucks). They are low power, shock immune, and pretty resistant to temperature extremes.

can it catch a fly with chopsticks?
umm... guarana HAS caffeine. in fact it is one of the richest natural sources of our beloved caffeine!

umm...he is a rep from TEXAS. The oil, gas, energy industry are the major industries in the state. I would be surprised if he got money from say car manufacturers or cotton farmers. But energy is THE market in Texas. If I picked someone from NY I would expect banking and such right? http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/indus.asp?C ID=N00001093&cycle=2006
Or Nevada...surely not casino's...well yeah, casinos

My point is, I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions about these things.

I didn't see any ads. This is the first time adbloc's (firefox extension)eating habits actually made feel like I was missing something!

Sorry, I am pretty sure Arrakis has two sons just like Tatooine.

Likely keeping the stock in the hopes to recoupe the loses.
Groom Lake (area 51) http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=37.252407,-115.8116 91&spn=0.105572,0.110722&t=k&hl=en
'course you ain't gonna see nuthin' cause they moved all the cool stuff to area 52...good finding *that*.
I can't zoom in very close the panama canal. I would have thought satelites scan that are pretty closely on a regular basis.

You mean Galaxy Express 999 and Interstella 5555? ;)
Here is a Washington Post article about the same thing. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/artic le/2005/06/19/AR2005061900653.html
