    You can xor a random pad of 1s and 0s with some copyrighted data, and end up with a block of data which looks totally random. Neither the random pad or the encrypted block have any useful information when taken apart, but together they contain all the information of the copyrighted work.

    What's done is done. It doesn't make it OK that it was done, but there is nothing you can do to undo it or even redress it. Everyone involved is already dead.

    Punitive fines need to be much greater than actual damages because of the low probability of getting caught; otherwise, entities could just make a calculated decision to take the risk of breaking the law, since the expected cost is much lower.

    Imagine if megacorps only paid damages whenever they harmed someone.

    There are lots of drivers indeed, and it's quite phenomenal that most of them were done without aid of the hardware manufacturers, by reverse engineering or what not. But, there aren't drivers for 100% of the hardware. And there won't be, until manufacturers start writing (hopefully open source) drivers for Linux.

    You thought wrong. Combinations of quarks form hadrons. There are two types of hadrons: baryons (formed from 3 quarks or 3 antiquarks) and mesons (formed from a quark and an antiquark). There's speculation that there could be higher number groups like 4 quarks and 1 antiquark. The only restriction is that the combination be color neutral. An antiquark of the same color can neutralize a quark, or three quarks of different colors are together neutral.

    It's probably unstable. Antibottom and bottom can annihilate, but it takes some time to do so, and can act as a compound particle for a short time. eta-sub-b is a kind of meson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meson

    Most any Linux distro comes with more power out of the box than any Windows version. It ships with most the apps a less computer savvy user needs, and comes with a more effective default interface. But, after extensive tuning, Windows comes up on top. The reason is simple. Almost all the sweet tools that are available for Linux can be gotten for Windows. The opposite ain't true. Explorer sucks, but there are shell replacements for that.

    "Instant" back and forward navigation using the cache. If I want to reload, I'll hit the reload button. Back navigation that traverses past a javascript redirection. I hate it when I go back to a page which just redirects me forward again. Options to not play embedded content until I push a play button. Tooltip on links so I can see where I'm going in full screen mode, since there is no status bar. No opening blank pages on downloads. Show form action when hovering over button in status bar. (to Firefox) Turn off add-on compatibility checking by default. Better control of some options in about:config
