K3b is a KDE based DVD/CD burning app, but it also has the ability to rip dvd's to AVI.
I've been using it for along time to rip all my dvd's to AVI, and from there I can use other apps to convert the AVI to what ever format I want. Though usually I just stored the AVI on an external Disk for backup purposes.
I know people that work in upper management at Springfield mall, and I've been told they are one top money producers in the mall, surprisingly. Even when the kids are in school, if I go to the mall on my lunch break, there are usually people in it. Hell, the place doesn't even stay open late like alot of gamin cafes. I'm pretty sure it runs on mall time, which means it closes fairly early at night.
Lately I have had the urge to wear a big green mohawk, and carry around duel daggers while stealthing around the office as not to be detecting by fellow employees. But then I realize it probably would not go over so well at work.
I don't know if this has happened to anyone, but sometimes while reading lots of text on a real piece of paper, I sit there and think about how I could grep through it to find what I'm looking for.
Now one of these planets has to be P9Y-4C3, this would make Dr. Daniel Jackson happy. Maybe we could send McGuyver and Samantha Carter to go exploring.
well unfortunatley, for people like me, who are in charge of the network, but have a president of the company who still insists on having final say on IT dept issues, we have to keep IE on all the computers. Plus, we use a timesheet application from Deltek that only works on IE.. stupid javascript they use.
Anyway, of course I am allowed to have Mozilla on the workstations, but even when we tell people to use it, people being creatures of habit still use IE....
However, to be honest.. we have not had a single issue with a browser virus, most of our problems are Outlook related, and yes, the president insists on employees using it too despite our recommendations.
I am confused too by how many ISP are apparently allowing outgoing port 25 connections. I know the the ISP's in this area all block outgoing port 25. I guess it's either with smaller ISP's or other parts of the US/world that just don't care...
I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm posting from my Mandrake 10 machine, using Mozilla. As a matter of fact, I am even running a custom application that i tell to open specific ports up and track how many of these worm / virus connections I get. Now I don't feel so left out from of the rest of the world who gets to play with them.
The browser was never the issue, and I am surprised there are any people who still after all these years don't get it. The materials were freely available at the DOJ website for all to read.
Well apparently, unlike you, the rest of the world prefers to spend their time reading more interesting things other than the DOJ website...
Seeing as how Linux runs on just about every popular chip out there, your comment has no basis behind it. As a matter of fact, we can thank Windows for our dependancy on the x86 architecture, as it is the only platform it CURRENTLY runs on, until they finally release the 64bit version.
You are an idiot who has only been first once in your life, in the shit for brains line. I do feel sorry for you however, it must be difficult living life with an IQ of 12 and a hockey helmet on head.

A long time ago on the WoW forum they announced they were making a movie. What ever happened to that?
I thought I already heard about this before where supermarkets may be selling this kind of meat in the near future?
Holy run-on sentences Batman!
Suicide is only illegal if you do a crappy job.
I should have mentioned it was the CNN article that mentioned the forced nudity from Showtime http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/08/22/televisio n.stargate.reut/index.html
The article mentioned full frontal nudity. Does this mean that some where out on the interweb is a full frontal nude shot of Samantha Carter? :)

Bingo, give that man a cigar! That is exactly how they do it.
