even though the 9/11 terrorists crossed from Canada
No they didn't. Being Canadian this bit of fud always pisses me off. As simple google search and you'll turn of lots of links to dispute this. Like thisthis and this
"how google's personalized homepage works". I am sure my tomorrow there should be a post of how somebody ripped apart the source and figured out how the drap and drop stuff works( which is pretty cool)
There are doors on those cottages. I would kill every single one of my fellow employees for a door.
To be able to shut out Chatty Kathy who's cell phone rings ten times and plays la-cookaracha and gets louder and louder when she doesn't answer it or Dum and Dummer who need to have a discussion at my desk when Dummer has his own office.
I agree. "easy to learn" by that definition C++ is lightweight it was easy to learn( for me anyways). VB would also be considered lightweight. Try getting VB installed on pretty much anything. I always had problems deploying a VB app I never seem to have all 1000 dlls the VB required to run that a damn app
As a result of this team meeting, we realized that to meet both our goals and the expectations of the community, just "balancing" the existing combat system wasn't enough. We have expanded the scope of development, with combat balance becoming just one part of the overall project that we're now calling the Combat Upgrade.
The Combat Upgrade is our overall effort to improve our player combat experience, including:
* Combat Balance - tuning all our numbers and the combat professions.
* Core Combat Changes - HAM improvements, Incapacitation & Death changes, Armor and more.
* Combat Additions - more special moves, new counter moves, new armors, new weapons and new crafting options.
That is pretty much the meat of the combat article.
Loot: Every NPC should have loot, it should be level based( ie uber bad guy npc isn't going to drop a cdef pistol ), creatures have different loot than human NPC. Make loot not effect crafters( ie loot items can be used by crafters to make uber stuff)
There is a lot more to the loot system. Try google cache or something it is worth the read.
I have a gmail account and its great. But I still would love have a mail client with gmail like features.
Instead of folders, categorizing messages, so that a message can have multiply categories. I always hated using folders anyways and everything just ended up in my inbox.
The search is best part of gmail. How does searching in Thunderbird compare ?
Maybe it is me but evertime I see a site the has wiki for an FAQ I cringe. I can't seem to find anything on a wiki.... of course I can't find an example at the moment.
Usually though there doesn't seem to be any content.
The search is good, still some problems. Its better for finding text inside of files or email. If your searching for a file with a certain name it is a pain in the ass.
You are not the first one http://www.usabilitypost.com/2008/08/30/usability-tip-use-verbs-as-labels-on-buttons/

Sounds like what we have. The "cube" walls are only half height they come to just above your waist. They are really only there to hold up the desk.

Also math is more than numbers it also teaches problem solving and logic. Logic being a skill that very few people have these days.
