One time I bought an item at a Idaho Walmart (6% tax) and returned it at a Washington Walmart (7% tax), and they gave me the extra. I made something like $0.40 on the transaction!! :) Just keep doing that and you can retire.=)

  2. It works but it's very hard. on Don't Click Here For A Free iPod · · Score: 1

It actually does work. My cousin got his. It just takes forever and you have to complain to get credit for an offer. I'm sure there are also scams out there as well. It's actually pretty hard to get 5 people. I could only get 2 and I'm still waiting for credit on those. The easiest offer are the credit cards because you don't actually have to buy anything. It's a pain in the butt but I still want a free iPod. http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=12135918

Not bad. I'll take an extra week off. In the meantime, I have designed a calendar with one day per year. Every holiday and birthday is on the same day so all gifts cancel out and you don't have to buy any presents all the time

So now for every video game I buy I have to have some company's annoying program running constanlty in my system tray and sucking up resources. It's as bad as every program that decides it's going to put a giant icon at the top of your start menu. There needs to be some common version of a steam system else we're gonna have to have dozens of these things installed on our computers.

We're in a country where people can't get health insurance, I'm a hard working educated professional having trouble finding a job that pays enough to make ends meet, and some corporate CEO who's poker buddies voted on how high his bonus should be this year, essentially stealing from the public's pension plans and mutual funds profits, is gonna take a 200K joyride. 12. Fix the root of the problem don't patch it. on Would You Bid for a Job? · · Score: 1

My mom is a nurse ad I know how the field works. This bidding process doesn't take into account the quality of care such as if the nurse has already worked 60 hours that week. Would you want her giving you medication? There are a lot of foreign nurses right now that fight tooth and nail for those overtime hours and will dig the eyes out of one of their own to get them even if the other person hasn't worked any overtime. You wind up with sleepwalking zombies on the floor. Fix the problem don't path it. This is done with cmopetative salaries. And paying temp staff twice as much to cover the shortage doesn't fic the problem either. It just makes health care more expensive and the quality of care lower.
