I agree with your points as well, it just rankled my chain (the stupid grunt comment). I would expect more mistakes out of Army grunts than their marine counterparts also. After reading your last return post I lost the impression of anti-american/soldier. Being a medic I tend to get a more broad overview of the conflict than most of my infantry buddies of the same rank, and your CS analogy works pretty well for them I think as they need to concentrate. Anyway I think we've gotten far enough off topic (of geriatrics running around in mech suits;) so I'll let this one drop!
You raise a good point that there are far too many friendly fire incidents in our military. I would venture to say it is due to overworking the individual soldier and not a lack of competence. Also friendly fire has been around for a long time and will never fully disappear, it is a fact of war.
My grammar is crap and if someone were to look over even this post I'm sure I've made a few glaring mistakes, but I do find it humorous to open your comment with "your" when "you're" is more appropriate.
Where do you live? In the state of Ohio any early termination/unexpected termination other than when caused by a conviction of some sort earn unemployment compensation. Of course there may be some other cases, IANAL..
However as a member of the US armed services I appreciate our long range abilities. I don't think it's cowardly to protect the lives of our servicemen and women by using our superior mouse trap.
So it is a myth that QWERTY was designed so that keys hit generally in succession were on opposite ends of the keyboard to forestall jamming? Try this website: http://www.acm.vt.edu/~jmaxwell/dvorak/compare.htm l and compare a few sentences.
I also thought this website was pretty neat, and you can test the code yourself: http://www.visi.com/~pmk/evolved.html. I think this website has been on slashdot before, but I can't remember.
Are you serious? QWERTY was designed for old manual typewriters to slow typist down - otherwise when they went too quickly the metal would run into each other and jam up the machine. Dvorak is more suitable to PCs because they don't have to worry about the mechanism jamming up. Here's a web site that might shed a bit more light on it: http://dvorak.i-rox.com/
Sure the sheep has a "human" brain, but that wont necessarily make it human-like. Classic nature vs nurture, and I think for it to be more human-like we have to look at the sheeps nurturing. I suppose the human-brained sheep would be akin to feral children and not show much more than just the animal that they are. Interesting to think about anyway.
I'd like to see Adblock and Flashblock working together - as it is if one has a flash item adblocked flashblock still pops up, then when selected it disappears. It would be neat if it were already adblocked it just didn't show up. I guess I'm a little off-topic now.
I recently added Adblock and Flashblock to Firefox and it works really well. The first hour after installing them I went to all of my favorite web pages and cut the ads out, now I am happily searching ad-free!
So write a better bot and beat the guy.
Oh wait, what's the point of playing again?
So, basically, according to God's plan they -evolved according to their circumstances and environmental needs-? :)

World War 2 Friendly fire
Amicide (Study by US Military)
CBC Article on friendly fire in Iraq

I may just be an average US grunt but I can drive the HMMWV and get my laundry done, while spelling "they're" correctly.
Seems like the Irish government disagrees with that article: The Examiner
NCMUDD, a Diku that has been around since 1990. Player numbers have declined a bit over the last few years, but a lot of new features have been added.

In some cases -1 is overrated
That does make a bit more sense :P
So the parent post missed the point, that's fine and well - but it is the first post. How can it be modded redundant?
I stand corrected ;) And I'll keep that in mind during my next job :P

An example of games on both systems (GC/Xbox) where GC game looks much better is http://cube.ign.com/objects/477/477635.htmlFifa 2002 World Cup Edition.
But I guess that's really just my opinion.
Maybe just "Unsporting" ?
I was making an attempt at being facetious ;)

Tell that to this girl: http://sominfo.syr.edu/facstaff/dvorak/blackburn.h tml!
:P
Okay, okay - so even that link says she was a crap typist on QWERTY, but I think it's funny
I don't think so.

Wish my mod points didn't run out, I'd rate that funny :P

At least they are +2 trolls :P
It will be 9-11 times a thousand!
