How so? If I leave no descendants, wouldn't my closest relatives be my parents? Likewise, the closest relatives to the pterosaur would be the species that it evolved from, or the species that also evolved from the one that this one evolved from.
Or, if you prefer, was intelligently designed from!
Mod parent up! The original poster obviously looked in the store, saw no games dealing explicity with Christianity, and said that there wasn't any. This is a sweeping generalization. Many games have religion in them, even if it's not necessarily retelling a religious story. Xenosaga is one (bad game, but that's beside the point), and I'm positive there's others. Just because they don't deal with the poster's religion doesn't make them non-religious games.
Even GTA has religion. The mission for Jizzy the Pimp that has you trying to save Jizzy's ho from a priest in a limo... well... a priest is religious, right?
Never ever did I claim that it wasn't illegal, just that the sentence for child porn should be far higher than that of copyright infringement. It's like how murder is more harshly prosecuted than, say, jaywalking.
Prices for games are higher in PAL regions and to a lesser extent Japan. We see the same prices in Canada that you do in the USA (after the conversion) but Europe sees close to double what we pay. This goes for the actual consoles as well.
Difference is in that 5 years as a CP offender, you're going to get raped over and over again. If you pirate (yar!) movies and get 5 years, you stand a better chance of not being subjected to the same.
Enough of devil's advocate, that is seriously messed up. The fact that someone thinks that sharing a movie is equivalent in magnitude to the brutal and unnecessary victimization of an innocent child is disgusting. The person (or group of people) responsible for that should be sent to a shrink ASAP.
Informative? From the summary: Authorities also seized hundreds of computers in raids in the United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom. (emphasis mine). Canada is on the list.
DVD burner + mod chip + internet/blockbuster/friend/buying and returning games = new game for your collection. Copying games seems to be more prevalent than you initally hinted.
You have to teach students to eat well before you can expect them to eat well. I'm tired of seeing parents who only make a home cooked meal once a week, live off of hamburger helper and delivery pizza, send the kid to grade school and middle school where the provided lunches are fried everything (hamburgers, hamburger pizza, spaghetti with melted cheese, cheese sandwiches, hotdogs, weiner wraps, macaroni and cheese, fish sticks, chicken nuggets and so on) - and some how expect them to make the same wise meal choices that YOU don't make for YOURSELF or FOR THEM or that their SCHOOLS have made for them thus far.
This game sounds a hell of a lot like E.V.O:The quest for eden for the SNES (or something like that). Basically you start out as a fish, eat other fish to get evo points, then get evolutionary things like fins and teeth and stuff. The game got very loopy at the end, but it sounds like a VERY similar premise.

Bad idea. That requires everyone to have the internet, even if it's not available in your area. Imagine trying to download shows over phone line instead of just over the air TV? Sounds a little farfetched. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather p2p the shows ANY day (no commercials, watch it when i want, etc) but there is a role for over the air TV.
The way I view it it's similar to records -> tapes -> cd's -> ???? -> profit!!!
Seriously though, Thriller first came out on vinyl. Everything was good. The tape offered portability. Everything was still good. The CD offered portability and sound quality. Still grand. You can buy these games for a song for the original NES, or you can pay 20$ for the portable version that has all the graphics of the original (sometimes improved) and maybe a few extras thrown in here and there. Sounds like a good deal to me.
The issue is this: some, if not most, of these games are not available for sale any more. I can't go to a store and pick up Double Dragon, for any system. I need to hunt hunt hunt for it. Now Nintendo may want to rerelease these games, they may not, but they can't say that they're currently losing millions of dollars in revenue. These guys have been stopped, I guess sales of old NES carts should start bringing in the big bucks for them again.
HOWEVER, that being said... these guys were profiting from counterfeit goods, and I'm sure no one can condone that.
What movie has he been in?

I'm afraid that this is actually a case for "Blu-Ray" Carl Carlson.
Errr.... 8 out of 9 you mean?

Why on earth would anyone want this crap in their search results? To me this looks like a huge spam e-mail for some reason. In summary:

Redundant = repetitive, excessive, unecessary, duplicate (FYI).

I seem to be alone in correcting this, even dictionaries disagree with me.
Should be your first hint...

Then that's even more telling about IE's numbers.
Stay in your house. The grammar Nazis will be by shortly.
And it was to compete with the Sega CD, thus it was for the SNES. Not the 64.
Half empty, half full. The point is that you have to pay for this to go up.
Correct. I do not associate platformer with Mega Man, though I do hold that series very dear to my heart. SMB is it for me, possibly SMB 3.

5,200 participants ought to be enough for anyone.
