Yeah, it's poetically awesome that the summary is just the good old Steve is dead troll.
RIP Steve, we will miss you.

I can't find it now, but there's a good post from one of Steam's engineers about the Direct X issue on the Steam forums. Essentially the issues with Direct X all stem from Microsoft not providing ways for different games to use similar or separate libraries, and as such they must be reinstalled for every game to work properly.
Oddly enough, I've been playing through Quake for the first time in awhile and having trouble specifically with the number of one-hit kill traps - spikes that run you through, etc.
Not that easy.
A really good tip an AC gave me ages ago: change troll and flamebait mods to +5 and browse at -1. A lot of good comments get modded off for people disliking them.
0 isn't the end of all quality, you know.
Also: holy crap, Slashdot's over 2400000 accounts? I suddenly feel ancient, and I'm only 22!
The BBC themselves has an article up (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/8738604.stm) about the ineffectiveness of this filter, the issues filtering out the noise of vuluzelas could cause for the coverage in general, and the rest of their own good reasons for NOT using this shim.
Cataclysm isn't out yet. Your first month (in addition to the 14 days) is free (it's included in the core game.) You don't need Wrath to start playing, either. The Battle Chest will do you fine for at least a month.
Rebooting Baldur's Gate itself is pretty unlikely at this point. For one thing, the Realms has advanced past Baldur's Gate by one hundred years (making the original plotline implausible, if not totally impossible) and now includes the events of the BG games as canon.
Additionally, D&D's gone through two edition changes since then, so many of the game mechanics would be different. Both of these changes were made at the product/brand manager level, so it's entirely unlikely that Hasbro would be willing to budge on them for product identity issues.
However, in the 4e Realms Baldur's Gate has significantly grown against the descent of the City of Splendors. I think it's entirely likely we'll see a 4e Realms game that is called Baldur's Gate and is set in Baldur's Gate, but it won't have any relation to the original games, and it definitely won't have BG2's gameplay or BG1's Realms literacy (the Dead Three etc.)
President Romney? Time-traveler, are you?
They've been here for years.
You've always been able to change the wallpaper on an iPhone. The rest of the stuff Apple just makes it so you don't need to care in the first place.

Why would Netflix run poorly on a Mac?
holy fucking crap how do you log in
I can make words bold too. Fuck off, troll.
Evidently you never rolled a rogue or shaman, since Fist Weapons used Unarmed weapon skill.

You need a new grammar file.
You were already paying for "them." That's how insurance works: balancing the people who won't need payouts against those who will.
Let me ask you a question.
What the FUCK are you doing embedding movies in a Word document, and WHY are you doing it so often that this is a notable compatibility error?
(There's a really easy answer to your situation: treat it like a text document, and not a kitchen sink.)
Well a business license would be. And I suspect you'd have to put the type or purpose of business on there.
Is there a crack force of arcade investigators? No.
On the other hand, kettle and PS3 cords are perfectly happily interchangeable. So is my laser printer.
You mean the King-Byng Affair?

What the hell are you doing to dent an aluminum case in regular use?

Gee, I can't imagine why Firefly was modded off-topic in a story about Xbox Live distribution...*rolleyes*
I'm surprised they aren't filling the storage with "kekekekekekekekekekekeke"...

Tim's spoils Canadians in general. Americans have no idea of what they're missing out on.
