just use google voice along with their myfave plan. every call comes through on your myfave #, both inbound and outbound, thus = unlimited minutes.
Remember that tmobile lets you change plans anytime. You can sign on with a 2 year contract at a set plan, and change the plan right away.
That would be great if TMO still offered a myfaves plan. Only way to do that with this new phone is to buy it unlocked and use a current sim card on a grandfathered myfaves plan w/data.
Some companies do 'deliver value' by being downright nice and wonderful. The majority however, get ahead by being more ruthless than the others.
The fact that you have this impression does not in itself make it universally true. I suspect you get your impression of how companies are from the news about Enron-style scandals; but most companies are simply not like that. In fact, most companies are fairly small businesses that survive because they deliver a good service to their customers, no matter what you say. And most companies know that they have to treat their staff with a certain measure of respect and dignity in order to get the best out of them.
At least, that is my experience - if you have evidence to the contrary, please let us know.
Perhaps small businesses do not operate this way. However, this article was about corporate culture, not a local mom and pop operation.
If it's not gyroscopically balanced, but by steering, how can you ride a bike without hands? It's still easier to stay upright when moving forward and not using hands, than to stay upright when not moving at all.
For the same reason you can turn a bike with no hands. You can still manipulate the steering of a bicycle by leaning. As you lean the front wheel tends to turn in the same direction. Have you ever rounded a corner with no hands on a bicycle?
Well, vast amounts of science, as you say, could possibly be done on it. Thing is, not much of the possible science really started. The substantial delays in construction meant that the crew required to do the science, and many of the modules, didn't arrive until recently. That's why dumping the thing in a few short years is such a crime. $100 Billion, twenty years, and the lives of seven astronauts were given to build the ISS, and NASA wants to dump it to make room in their budget for an unfunded Mars stunt. The very plan is criminal.
No astronauts died supporting the ISS. The last flight of Columbia did not go to the ISS, was not in an orbit anywhere near the ISS, and was actually one of the last shuttle flights flown for purposes other than the ISS.
Here's what I do. Put your stuff on the curb the day after the garbage truck shows up so it will sit there for the next six days. Put a note on it.
Air Conditioner: Free. Works but it's a bit noisy, but yours if you want it.
Lawn Mower: Free. A bit smoky, has a loose rear wheel. Yours if you want it.
Those are two I've done. Both went somewhere before the next garbage day. Just stick a note on it and say it's free, and what might be wrong with it. I'd try something like this:
Old computer stuff: Free. Outdated, but worked the last time I used it. Yours if you want it.
I tried this once with an old XT form factor case. I couldn't sell it for pennies during my garage sale so I put it at the curb. Later that day, much to my relief, someone took it. A few hours later it was back on the curb. You can't even give away some of the older stuff! I should have put a note stating "If you take it don't bring it back".
China is stockpiling it to run diesel instead of coal plants, so as to clean up their air for the olympics.
I am not an expert on large power plants (in fact I know next to nothing about them which is why I'm posting here on Slashdot) but I'd be pretty surprised if you could just take an coal fired powerplant and just plug a diesel tanker into it. If your idea were true, you should see huge changes around the plants - construction of the tanks for one thing as diesel just doesn't form nice large piles like coal does.
Take the tin-foil off, you'll feel better.
I don't know much about coal fired power plants either, but I did take a tour of one. They had giant tanks full of diesel on site and used them to get the firebox hot enough to sustain the burning of coal when bringing the plant online. So, the idea certainly seems plausible.
My house is bricked with refractory bricks. They have the name A.P. Green imprinted on their tops. I looked this name up once and found this.
The pictures of the bricks from TFA look a lot like the bricks on my home. They are very hard and difficult to drill into.
I can't imagine an "I slept at work" scenario in my job that didn't involve obscene overtime and after hours work. Where the hell would you find time? Where the hell do people get these JOBS?
I found the latest Oasis album to be particularly offensive in this regard. The audio literally sounds like it was smashed against a brick wall and my ears are fatigued after a few minutes of listening. I honestly don't know if I like the album or not because I can't listen to it long enough to tell.

The value of first-world fiat currency has been far more stable than the value of gold. A gold-standard economy can collapse for no meaningful reason simply because the supply of gold is restricted. Those "thousand years" you mention were filled with wars over a useless metal!
And all the wars stopped when we started using Federal Reserve Notes.
I can't decide, what do people think, 65 years is basically a life sentence. Is that excessive?
I know a guy that got 15 years for a cold blooded murder. His lawyer was able to plead his charge down to 2nd degree manslaughter and was out in 7 years.
But still, 65 years for a spammer sounds about right.
The whole "examining the hands" routine is something that the fire dept tells principals to do. It gets the rumor spread among the students that there is dye in the fire alarms, to act as a deterrent to pulling.
There is no dye.
I suppose you are going to try to tell me there is no such thing as a chemical that makes a red ring around the kid that pees in a pool.

So help me God.
When you take this oath you are solemnly swearing to defend the Constitution and abide by the order of the President, Officers and the UCMJ. Soldiers defend the Constitution, but are bound by the laws of the UCMJ.
Some people may act surprised: they're the ones who knew about it ahead of time. Some people may genuinely be surprised: they're the ones who have willingly accepted all of the lies and bullsh*t coming from the politicians over the last twenty years.
Politicians have only been lying and full of crap for twenty years?
I can't comment on recent apple quality, but I'm typing this on a G4 PB that still works great. I would venture to say that this is the best laptop I've ever owned in terms of build quality. The refusing the pre-announce thing is very annoying from apple though and the main reason I'm still on the PB.
I've pretty much made the decision to never move to Vista. Between XP, OS X, and linux I should be able to run any program I need to for the foreseeable future. Of course I'll be hosed when MS forces people to move to Vista for DX10, but then I'll just get my game fix from whatever console is hot atm.
At least you won't have to worry about any fanboy wars with game consoles.

Lesson learned, don't hold stock in electronics retailers during a recession.
Another lesson, don't hold stock in anything during a recession.

Well, at the time Sun was putting the "dot" in "com", so someone needed to put the "dot" in "net".
It's an orgy or errors!
Our data center has a 10 Kw generator. Not only does it run our servers, but also the chillers and air handlers to cool the place.
A sysadmin has the access to read anything he wants and can get away with it as long as he doesn't tell anyone.
I'm positive the word Podcast will be made fun of on VH1's "I love the 00's" in about 15 years.
